Summer is a busy time in the church locally, on the district, and this year, on theglobal scene in Indianapolis! We have calendars full with VBS, camps, conventions, and assemblies. Hopefully, a vacation is in there somewhere. I appreciate the waywe come together for all these events. July 9-10 are Red Letter Days for TennesseeNMI! Be there with David and Shelly Webb, our missionary speakers from Costa Rica.

The children’s Missions Jamboree was a joy as over 75 children learnedabout our Cuba partnership on June 1. While they made the flag, they prayed for specific needs. We want to send three more teams (Dates: September 27, December 7, and February 7) this year to finish the work we have startedin Camaguey. I hope every church will have a person going to Cuba thisyear! The Lord will bless your church as you send someone to Cubawith our teams.

Nashville First Church was bustling with activity at the Haiti Fest on May 18.These two congregations are partnering for the vision of a medical clinic inHaiti. Pastor Maromy Samuel and his wife are taking a medical team to Haiti thismonth! Pray for them and let others who are in the medical profession know of thisspecial project that is continuing there.

Many thanks to Trevecca Community, Clarksville First and many other churches across the district for making a wayto encourage the tornado victims in Oklahoma! Let’s not forget them in this long process of recovery.

We will be trying something new with several workshops being offered on convention day. Please make sure YOUR church sends your pastor, NMI president and some others to bring the inspiration back home to your folks.

Making Christlike Disciples in the Nations: our co-mission with our Lord Jesus Christ! May it be so even more in this new church year!
