2010 Ottawa Senators Development Camp

Media availability Media availability will take place at Scotiabank Place following off-ice workouts and at the Bell Sensplex after on-ice practice sessions.

Schedule highlights

On-ice training every day at the Bell Sensplex, starting Tuesday, June 29, at 1:30 p.m., with the exception of the camp’s final day (Monday, July 5) which features the 3-on-3 tournament.

A specialized sport nutrition/food preparation seminar will be held at Scotiabank Place on Thursday, July 1 at noon.

A 5-on-5 scrimmage will be held for the first time on the evening of June 30 at 6:30 p.m. while the 3-on-3 tournament returns to the Bell Sensplex on Monday, July 5 at 9:45 a.m.

Following the scrimmage, players will attend a meet and greet reception with season seat holders at Stanley’s Restaurant on the upper level of the Sensplex.

All on-ice workouts, including the full team scrimmage and 3-on-3 tournament at the Bell Sensplex, are open to the public.

RETURNING PLAYERS: Eighteen (18) players attended the Senators development camp in 2009.

DRAFT PICKS: Twenty-four (24) of 31 players attending are Senators draft picks and two were selected in the first round.

PRO EXPERIENCE: Bobby Butler, Jared Cowen and Zack Smith saw NHL action last season. Five (5) players saw regular season AHL action in 2009-10: Condra, Gryba, Lehner, O’Brien and Smith.
