Michael DiBrizzi, CEOMichael DiBrizzi, CEOMichael DiBrizzi, CEO

As a mission driven and quality focused organization, Camelot Community Care has

been fortunate to work with generous funders and supporters in helping children

realize their full potential. This past year was one where we looked to strengthen the

foundation of our organization so that we may continue to meet the needs of those we serve. In

addition to our traditional government and insurance funders, Camelot has over 500 donors who

support the work we do and join us in achieving

our mission.

As we head into 2012, we are

re-committing ourselves to growing the relation-

ships we have with our donors. For those who

support us, we will be working to grow the

partnership we have while also offering ways for new supporters to learn more about us and become

part of our team. We truly look forward to working with our community in shaping the future of our

children.

Throughout this annual report you will read about some of our successes and the many

services we provide. The 2010-2011 year was a great year for our organization. This past year was

a time of stability for Camelot which allowed us to truly focus on the needs of the children in our

programs. We enter the 2011-2012 reinvigorated and filled with the passion to see our children and

families succeed. We hope you join us in this effort and become part of the Camelot family.

Employee of the YearEmployee of the YearEmployee of the Year

Camelot’s 2010-2011employee of the year is Laura Edwards, a Clinical Director in our Cincinnati office. Laura oversees our school based Partial Hospitalization program through-out the greater Cincinnati area. Within the last 2 years, Laura has designed the Partial Hospitalization program from scratch, built it to thrive, and due to the program's success, managed the huge growth of the program in a very short period of time, without compromising the quality of the program's treatment. Laura has been a model of professionalism and leader-ship to her team of therapists and behavioral specialists, as well as her colleagues in other departments, unfailingly providing support and encouragement to others.

She has gone above and beyond her manager duties to reach out to parents and families to aid in the child's success. She has coached teachers and school administration regarding the mental health needs of their students, the services provided by Camelot, and the development of treatment opportunities. Laura has developed a highly skilled team of providers in a community based program, unlike anything that has been seen in the Cincinnati area. Laura is a shining star within Camelot and model of our success.

Camelot Community Care named a finalist for the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Non-Profit of the Year

Camelot Community Care was named a finalist for The Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Non-Profit of the

Year in the Health and Human Services category. Camelot was honored to have the opportunity to be a final-

ist and was very proud of all their accomplishments that they have had with many children and families

throughout the Tampa Bay area. Camelot was measured against the other nominees in the areas of financial

health, program effectiveness, community impact, outcome achievement, and customer satisfaction. The

awards ceremony was held at The Embassy Suites Tampa/USF with Camelot Board members, leadership

staff and supporters in attendance. Although Camelot would not be named the eventual winner of The Non-

Profit of the Year, being nominated and named a finalist was a proud moment for the agency. Recognition

such as this serves to verify the tremendous work being done by the Camelot staff who each day help over

After eight years of partnership, Tampa Bay’s Heart Gallery program

has transitioned to Camelot Community Care, Inc. and now works side by

side with adoption case management. The mission of the Children’s Board Heart Gallery of Tampa Bay is to

enable children living in foster care to realize their dream of finding permanent, loving adoptive families to

call their own, and to raise awareness and education about the hundreds of children needing the shelter and

love of forever homes. This highly innovative recruitment model has demonstrated unprecedented success in

achieving permanency by giving a voice to Tampa’s waiting children.

Over 100 professional photographers volunteer their time and talent to capture the spirit of each

waiting child into fine art portraits. Interactive exhibits and other high impact visuals tour the county year

round at targeted, high-traffic venues.

The state-of-the-art website allows

potential parents to inquire about available

children with timely updates and features

resources for support and step-by-step

instructions for fostering and adopting.

Meaningful engagement activities

with the faith-based community, corporate

sector and other targeted partners maxi-

mizes awareness, integrates citizens and

provides a wider resource pool for the Heart Gallery program and children. The transition will allow for more

efficient operations, while leveraging the resources of both agencies toward the common goal of permanency.
