The 2009 Hurricane Forecast:

• 9-14 Named Storms 4-7 Hurricanes 1-3 Intense Storms

• 54% chance of impact on US

• 32% chance of an East Coast impact

• Fosters benchmarking against a national standard and provides a continuous improvement process (SWOT).

• Demonstrates accountability in maintaining and documenting compliance and incorporates best-practices.

• Provides citizens evidence that Orange County continues to achieve the highest levels of service.

• Fourth local program in the country and second county accredited in the State of Florida

• One of only 24 accredited programs in the United States
