Success Report Data Data Description
4,605 Total graduates earning degrees at both campuses (September 2006, December 2006, March 2007 and June 2007)
1,128 Total number of graduates responding to the survey
� 422 responses from the on-line survey via the Career Development Center website
� 330 responses collected via mail survey
� 287 responses collected via telephone survey
� 38 responses from online social networks (Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn)
� 28 responses from department chairs, university faculty or staff members
� 14 Career Development Center research
� 9 Other
24% Actual response rate (1,128 divided by 4,605)
42 Total graduates not seeking employment. These graduates were removed from the survey.
1,086 Basis for all Success Reports percentages (1,128 less 42)
89% Success Rate. This includes a combination of graduates who are “Employed” (77%), and “Continuing Education” (12%).
NOTES: 1) For the purpose of this report, all U.S. military employees are classified as “Employed.” 2) When graduates provided pay on an hourly basis, it was converted to an annual salary. 3) For ease of reporting all “Special Majors” are listed in the College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences. 4) When percentages were incorrect due to rounding, the “Employed” percentage was adjusted by either a
positive or negative one percent.
