TERM 2 1. Calculate the node voltages VA, VB, VC, VD and VE, the branch currents I1, I2, I3, I4, I5 and I6 and the power supplied or consumed by each component, and the total power supplied in the circuit shown below.
2. Consider the circuit shown below (n: nano:10-9, m: milli:10-3, k: kilo:103) a) Calculate phasor currents IS, IR, IC, and IL, and phasor voltages VS, VR, VC, and VL. Express the phasors in exponential format (magnitude and angle). b) Draw a phasor diagram which clearly illustrates that VL = VC + VR. c) Find the instantaneous power supplied by 20V source. d) Find powers of each element (R, L, C) e) Find active and reactive powers.
