PERFORATING, TAMBAK SAWAH- SIDOARJO

Abstract

Halliburton is one of the largest oil service company in the world, operating in over 80

countries, has branches in various places, especially in Indonesia. One branch of this

company is part of Halliburton Wireline and Perforating unit that prepares Surabaya

Logging and Perforating activities in the area of operation for the user. One of the tools

used in the logging process is FDI (Fluid Density Inertial) which is used to measure the

density of the oil in the wellbore. Logging results will be evaluated whether the area has an

appropriate quality oil or not the economic value to be gained. The working principle of

FDI is the liquid density measurement using a tuning fork sensor will oscillate according

naturalnya frequency, while the fluid (oil) here serves as a vibration damper that will result

will be sent via telemetry in the form of frequency and found the density of oil in the area.

Praise to God we pray to Allah SWT, thanks to His mercy and guidance activities in PT

HALLIBURTON Wireline & Perforating Wetland Pond-Sidaorjo for one month starting

from 15 July until 25 August 2014 with the title STUDY INSTRUMENT FDI (FLUID

DENSITY INERTIAL) TOOL FOR PROCESS IN CASED-HOLE LOGGING IN

HALLIBURTON WIRELINE & PERFORATING, TAMBAK SAWAH- SIDOARJO

can be done well until the end of this report can kerjapraktek stacking writer to finish.

Practical work and the preparation of this report do not support all the parties separated.
