When does one become a new creature?

WHAT MUST ONE DO TO BE A NEW CREATURE?

• Be born again – John 3:3-5; 1 Pet. 1:23

• Walk in newness of life – Rom. 6:1-4; 1 Pet. 4:1-5

• Be in Christ – 2 Cor. 5:16-19; Col. 1:18

• Put on Christ – Gal. 3:26-29

• Put on the new man – Col. 3:8-10; Rom. 12:1-2

HOW DOES ONE DO THESE THINGS?

• Birth of water and the spirit – John 3:5

• Takes place when one is baptized into Christ – Rom. 6:3-5; Gal. 3:26-27

• Infers certain changes – Heb. 6:1; Rom. 8:13; Col. 3:5; Rev. 2:10

• Our regeneration continues as we live as Christians – Eph. 4:17-24
