wELcOMEThe Murray State University Athletics Media Relations Department is pleased to assist you with the coverage of Racer football. Parker Griffith media relations assistant, will serve as the media relations contact for MSU football. Griffith can be reached at (270) 809-335 or via email at [email protected].

cREDENTIALSCredentials for all Murray State University football games are for working media only. Requests for media credentials should be made at least five days prior to the game. All credential requests should be directed to John Brush, Media Relations Assistant.

cREDENTIAL pIck-UpMedia members can pick-up their credentials at the Media Will Call entrance located at Gate 3 of Stewart Stadium. Photo identification is required for pick up.

gAME pROcEDURESPress Box - Seating in the press box is limited to WORKING MEDIA ONLY. Space is limited and members of the media will be assigned seats. Spouses, dates, children and other non-workers are not permitted in working media areas in compliance with the working code of the Football Writers Association of America.

Photographers - Print and television photographers are allowed to shoot from both sidelines and both end zones, but are not allowed in the team bench areas unless authorized by the MSU media relations staff.

Parking - A limited number of parking spaces are available for each home game. The media parking area is located on the east side of the Regional Special Events Center behind Stewart Stadium. Members of the media who cover MSU regularly will be issued parking passes prior to the start of the season. Visiting media members need to contact the MSU media relations office to request parking.

Press Box Services - Complete individual and team statistics, play-by-play and scoring summary will be available to members of the media following each game. Prior to the game, stats, rosters, notes and other information will be made available. Additionally, a limited number of phone lines for media members are available in the press box upon request.

Visiting Radio - A courtesy line is available for the official radio network of each visiting team. Anyone intending to use remote pick-up equipment must contact Neal Bradley of the Racer Sports Network at (270) 753-2400.

Pre-Game Meal - A light meal will be served in the press box prior to each home game. Drinks are available throughout the game.

DAILY MEDIA AvAILABILITYMonday: Mitch Stewart and select players will be available at the media luncheon at 12 p.m. at the Racer Room inside Stewart Stadium.

Tuesday: Head Coach Mitch Stewart, assistant coaches and players will be available by appointment only.

Wednesday: Head Coach Mitch Stewart, assistant coaches and players will be available at the conclusion of practice.

Thursday: Head Coach Mitch Stewart will be available by appointment only before practice.

Friday and Sunday: No Availability.

Saturday: Post-game availability only. Members of the MSU Athletics Media Relations staff will escort media representatives to the appropriate areas following the conclusion of the game. The Murray State locker room, both at home and on the road, is closed to the media at all times.

Head Coach Mitch Stewart and selected Racer players will be brought to the designated interview area. At home games, that area is the Racer Room, located in Stewart Stadium (first floor).

At the midway point of the fourth quarter, interview requests will be collected.

For games in Murray, the opposing head coach will meet with the media outside the opponent's locker room. A representative from the MSU Media Relations Office will be on hand to assist the media in finding this area. Interviews with the head coach and players from the visiting team will be based on the post-game policy of that institution.

pRAcTIcE pROcEDURESCovering Practice: Practices are generally open to the media and public. Head coach Mitch Stewart reserves the right to close practice at any time.

Note: Player or coach interviews must not conflict with classes, meetings, training room treatments or other team obligations.
