Standard 5: Digital Citizenship
Learning objective: A clear focus on the choices we make around our digital lives and how they affect us, specifically about 8: balance, 7: responsibility and 6: safety.
Guiding Question: How are you a responsible digital citizen?
8th Digital Citizenship
You will estimate the amount of time you spend online daily (at your grade level).
You will guess how much time we spend online (as a whole school) with the winner announced on Friday.
At the time time, you must track the amount of time you spend online. You have two options to do this:
•use Rescue Time (which will allow you to automatically track what you were doing and when), OR•use a simple Plugged-In Tracking Sheet as a template to keep track of your own hours.
8th Digital Citizenship
use Rescue Time (which will allow you to automatically track what you were doing and when). Get permission to download. Click to open.
8th Digital Citizenship
OR use a simple Plugged-In Tracking Sheet
in Excel as a template to keep track of your
own hours. Click to Open & Save for
yourself. (I have this in Google Docs as
well.)

r group’s picture. We will have a collaborative presentation with
one student from each table group ”on stage” to share the story from their table group.
