VISION AND MISSION
Focused Direction that would embody the thrust to develop standards for services, support to both manpower and infrastructure, provide opportunities for people, generate sustainable sources of income and contribute to the economic development.
WHY TOURISM OFFICERS?
- Most Destinations has poor or fairly set up Tourism Offices
- No Permanent Tourism Officers (mostly are appointed by the Chief Executive ) no continuity in service which makes it difficult to plan for better programs for tourism
- Chief Planning Officers are concurrent holding the function of the Tourism Officer
- Appointments are good for 6 months to 1 year or only covered by an Executive Order
