InvitationOn behalf of the Organizing Committee, I would like to cordially invite you to the1st Asian Pacific Regional meeting of International Society for Neonatal Screening,to be held on June 21-23, Sapporo, Japan.

The Scientific program covers the latest and most important issues in SCREEN-ING. It includes recent advances, new directions and problems in the area of neonatalscreening, childhood screening and maternal screening. I am sure this Meeting willprovide ;a great number of invaluable experiences and opportunities for developingand developed countries alike.

Sapporo City, the capital of Hokkaido prefecture, is one of the most energeticcities in Japan with 1.7 million inhabitants. Sapporo is a well designed city with avery comfortable living arrangement that blends superbly with the abundant nature.

Host: Local Organizing Committee of 1st Asian Pacific Regional Meeting of Interna-tional Society for Neonatal Screening.

Official Language: English.

Accommodation: The Organizing Committee will make block reservations during theMeeting for a number of rooms at Century Royal Hotel. Reservation form will besent with the second circular.

Transportation: Sapporo is served by all Japanese domestic airlines. Travel time fromTokyo is 1 hour by air or 2 hours from Osaka.
