Employer Expectations:Engage the students and provide them with the following:*Listing of general career opportunities at the company*Listing of educational requirements*Companies are encouraged to display items made by the company if appropriate, and are welcome to bring “freebies” (pencils, pens, paper, etc.) to give to the “freebies” (pencils, pens, paper, etc.) to give to the students. (Expect to see approximately 300 of the 1400 students)

SAMPLE E-MAIL CONTENT TO EMPLOYERS IN PREPARATION OF EVENT. Thank you for agreeing to represent “business” at our upcoming career exploration event: It’s All About Me in Clark County! Attached is a flyer about the event, but I also need a few things from you!! 1. I need to know which of the following Career Clusters your company represents. You can choose up to four areas based on the type of work that would typically be available at your local facility. (Please choose one to four)

2. Consider creating a handout for the students. I have attached a copy of the ½ sheet (front and back) that Champion Company has prepared and offered to show as an example. 3. Do you need electricity? 4. You will be provided a table and 2 chairs. Please prepare to bring everything else you might need (including extension cords or table clothes) 5. Will you be providing a door prize of some sort for the door prize drawing for the students? (ideas: giftcards, small electronics) 6. What questions do you have for me? This event changes based in feedback and you may think of something that we have not!!
