COLLECTION SCHEDULE January 2021 - December 2021
Emterra Environmental is RecycleBC’s curbside collection partner in Royston. Royston’s garbage collection is for one can of garbage per week, as well as unlimited recycling bi-weekly. Tags for additional garbage containers can be purchased at the Comox Valley Regional District office.
Starting January 1, 2021, the Comox Valley Waste Management Centre will be closed all provincially recognized statutory holidays and collection services will not be provided on these days. This change has been reflected in the Royston collection schedule. Note that in the week following a statutory holiday two cans of garbage will be accepted. For a list of recognized holidays visit: cswm.ca/hours
Emterra will not pick-up loose garbage. All garbagemust be in cans, bagged, closed or tied. A recycling container containing items that are not eligible for curbside service will be tagged and left behind.
Please find a detailed material list at: RecycleBC.ca/what-can-i-recycle
If you have questions about your garbage and recycling curbside service, including service disruptions, holiday schedules, the types of recycling and garbage containers to use, or why a certain material was left behind, contact: Emterra Environmental at 250-336-8066.
