Salvation is liberation from everything thatoppresses human beings; but speciallyliberation from sin and the evil one; in the joy of

knowing God and being known by Him. Thisliberation in the framework of the Churchs specific mission, cannot be contained in thesimple and restricted dimension of economics,

politics, social or cultural life; it must envisagethe whole man, in all his aspects, right up toand including the openness to the absolute,even the divine absolute.
