ALFA ROMEO SPIDER

The Alfa Romeo Spider was launched in 1966 and was Battista Pininfarina’s last project. There were three series of the iconic model during its thirty-year lifetime: “Osso di Seppia” (cuttlefish bone), Kamm tail and aerodynamic, before the 1990 restyling, also by the Pininfarina Design Centre, which restored the original purity of design. The charming convertible was developed by the Milan-based auto maker to replace the Giulietta/Giulia Spider and fitted the various engine versions of the Giulia over time, namely: the 1600, the 1300, the 1750 and the 2000. In the final series, the magnificent two-litre engine was modernised with the adoption of electronic ignition and injection. The car on sale, which has always belonged to FCA, was used for technical tests, such custom colour testing, which makes it a virtually unique Alfa Romeo.
