Το Σεπτέμβριο πραγματοποιήθηκε συνάντηση στο Πολυδύναμο Κέντρο με τον Αντιδήμαρχο Αθηναίων τον αρμόδιο για τα θέματα κοινωνικής ένταξης μεταναστών του Δήμου της Αθήνας και την Υπεύθυνη του Συντονιστικού Κέντρου για θέματα μεταναστών και προσφύγων (ACCMR) με σκοπό τη διερεύνηση περαιτέρω συνεργασίας και ευκαιριών κοινής χρηματοδότησης Τέθηκε σχέδιο δράσης που περιλαμβάνει την παρουσίαση του Πολυδύναμου στην ομάδα Στεγαστικού Προγράμματος του Δήμου καθώς και τη συνάντηση των ομάδων Κέντρου Ένταξης Μεταναστών (ΚΕΜ) και Πολυδύναμου για την ανάπτυξη συμπληρωματικών δράσεων
Τα παιδιά πρόσφυγες συμμετείχαν στις παρακάτω δραστηριότητεςo Επίσκεψη σε κοντινά πάρκα και παιδικές χαρέςo Περιήγηση στο λόφο του Λυκαβηττού με το τελεφερίκ (όλα τα παιδιά) και στο Μουσείο Παιδιών (1η-3η τάξη)rade)o Ενισχυτική Διδασκαλίαo Συζητήσεις σε μικρές ομάδες με θέμα την πρόοδο στο σχολείοo Εκμάθηση Ελληνικών με την δασκάλα του Πολυδύναμου
Για την υποστήριξη των προσφύγων που ζουν στον αστικό ιστό και την κάλυψη των αναγκών τους που σχετίζονται με την κοινωνική ένταξη προσφέρονται βασικές υπηρεσίες μέσω Πολυδύναμων Κέντρων (MFCs) στην Αθήνα και τη Θεσσαλονίκη
Πραγματοποιήθηκε ενημέρωση σχετικά με το πρόγραμμα τα μαθήματα και τους κανόνες του σχολείου Λόγω θετικής τροφοδότησης από τους εκπαιδευτικούς του σχολείου αντίστοιχες ενέργειες θα υλοποιούνται κάθε μήνα με την παρουσία διερμηνέων εξασφαλίζοντας έτσι την αμφίδρομη κατανόηση

Το Σεπτέμβριο ολοκληρώθηκε ο κύκλος Αγγλικών και Ελληνικών μαθημάτων που άρχισε τον Ιούνιο Τον Οκτώβριο προβλέπεται να ξεκινήσουν δύο καινούρια τμήματα Επιπλέον θα πραγματοποιηθούν μαθήματα εκμάθησης ηλεκτρονικών υπολογιστών για την απόκτηση βασικών γνώσεων με στόχο τη διευκόλυνση στην εύρεση εργασίας Όλες οι εκπαιδευτικές δράσεις υλοποιούνται από εκπαιδευμένους εθελοντές του Ελληνικού Ερυθρού Σταυρού
Κατά τη διάρκεια του Σεπτεμβρίου στο πλαίσιο των δραστηριοτήτων μας για την ένταξη των προσφύγων ολοκληρώθηκε ο 3ος κύκλος εκπαίδευσης εθελοντών του Πολυδύναμου Κέντρου Θεσσαλονίκης Οι θεματικές ενότητες αφορούσαν στις έννοιες ανθρωπισμού την ιστορία τις αρχές του Κινήματος και προσωπικές δεξιότητεςΤην εκπαίδευση υποστήριξαν προσωπικό του Πολυδύναμου του Περιφερειακού Τμήματος Θεσσαλονίκης και άλλων ΜΚΟ 20 ώρες πρακτικής ακολούθησαν μετά την εκπαίδευση Οι εθελοντές που απασχολούνται ως διαπολιτισμικοί μεσολαβητές καλύπτουν πολλές γλώσσες όπως Κουρδικά Ουρντού Φαρσί Αραβικά και Τουρκικά διευρύνοντας τις υπηρεσίες του Κέντρου σε διαφορετικές εθνικότητες

A meeting with the Vice Mayor of Athens the responsible for the social inclusion of migrants of the Municipality of Athens and the Coordinator of the Athens Coordination Centre for Migrant and Refugee Issues (ACCMR) took place in September to discuss further collaboration and joint funding opportunities There was an action plan set The MABS employee will present the MFC in the Accommodation Team of the Municipality while Migrant Integration Centre (KEM) and MFC teams will meet to coordinate and complement their services
The school project has been reported as very much needed by the school sta Discussions around the school program subjects rules and behaviours have been introduced and will continue every month with the presence of interpreters to ensure a mutual understanding The Pedagogue was also involved in the following activities with the children from the school projecto Trips to nearby parks and playgroundso Excursions to Lycavetos Hill with the Teleferik (all children) and to the Childrenrsquos museum (1st -3rd grade)o Homework supporto Talks about lsquoHow is school goingrsquo in smaller groupso Greek lessons with the teacher of the MFC
To support migrants living in urban centres to meet their needs related to social inclusion and integration core services are oered through Multifunction Centres (MFCs) in Athens and Thessaloniki MFC in Athens is a collaboration between Danish Red Cross and Hellenic Red Cross with nancial assistance from the European Union MFC in Thessaloniki is a collaboration between British Red Cross and Hellenic Red Cross Both the MFCs are support-ed by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies
The month of September was all about the school project the collaboration between the MFC and the 35th Primary School of Athens Much was prepared in the months before but during this month many things were changed and a host of activities meetings with the parents and the teachers talks and coordination were carried out

After successfully completing a three month cycle of English and Greek classes that started on June during September one class was continued with the existing group of participants and two other Greek language classes were organized to start on the rst week of October Two new English language classes will start on the same time as well In addition there will be a computer skills class which will equip asylum seekers migrants and refugees with the basic computers skills needed to increase their employability opportunities Follow-ing the core principles of the Red Cross movement all our teachers who are oering high quality services and skills are HRC trained volunteers by dierent divisions of the HRC Thessaloniki branch
During this month as part of our integration activities we have completed the 3rd MFC Thessaloniki training cycle introducing 11 new volunteers to skills humanitarian concepts and the history and principles of the movement For the training professionals from MFC the local branch and NGOs we have partnership with were involved The training was followed by 20 hours of shadowing dierent professionals Our cultural mediation volunteers support us with many languages like Kurdish Urdu Farsi Arabic Turkish in expanding our services to dierent nationalities
