The onesie is intended to be worn with the buttons in the back OR the front for two different looks! The onesie is worked top down, turning for each row to create texture. Once the yoke is completed, you will work a row that establishes the armholes and body of the onesie. Continue to work the body turning for each row, until the designated measurement to the crotch. Join in last round and continue, working the legs in rounds. Sleeves are worked without turning for a smoother look. Instructions are written in three sizes within ( ) as follows (0-3 Months, 3-6 Months, 6-12 Months). For proper fit, please take the time to work a gauge swatch and adjust hook/yarn as needed to meet the gauge noted in the pattern. I used three main colors plus black for the belt and a small amount of gold for the belt buckle. Work the body in one color with a break for the belt and then continuing with the first color. The leggings are worked by alternating two colors (each row) and the sleeves are worked alternating two different colors (each row). Both the sleeve and leggings are finished off with a narrow, ribbed band worked in front and back post stitches.

    Helpful Notes:

    • Ch1 and ch2 at beginning of row/round does not count as stitch. • The first stitch of each round is worked in the same stitch as the join. • Join rounds with a slip stitch to the first stitch (not the ch2) of the round. • Numbers in ( ) at the end of a row/round represents the stitch count for your convenience. • Weave ends as you work to avoid having a lot of ends when you complete your project. • When working in rows, fasten off at color changes; when working in rounds, run the unused

yarn on the wrong side of the onesie, picking it up for each round as needed.• This design (as most of my designs) looks best after blocking. Please block your work!• When a number precedes a stitch, work that number of stitches in the next stitch, ex. 2hdc

means work 2 hdc in the next stitch; when a number follows a stitch, work that stitch in the designated number of stitches, ex. hdc 2 means work a hdc in each of the next 2 stitches.
