Who We Are
What We Do
Why Choose Us?
Why Use a Leased Line Anyway?
As businesses grow, your need for
dedicated internet increases due to
rising demands on your internet
connection beyond what standard
broadband can oer.
Leased lines are currently the most secure
way to communicate online today.
VoIP applications like Skype and other online
meeting software can run exceptionally well on
Leased Lines, improving your oce
communication and overall productivity.
Leased lines have dedicated 24/7 backend support
as we continuously monitor the network to keep
intrusions, attacks and general failures at bay.
Quick x times, trac redirection failover options
and dedicated Service Level Agreements
around the clock means you have an
“always-on” connection.
A leased line is your very own private internet
connection. Zero sharing means maximum bandwidth
on your sent and received data packets, massively
boosting business productivity.
As new technologies emerge, you may want to
adapt and capitalise on those. Leased lines give
you the dedicated internet speed required to
adopt emerging technologies rapidly, while
giving you the ability to host the newest online
applications and software. With cloud
technologies being the future, the demand for
better internet speed will only increase
As your business grows, you may wish to scale up your internet
connections as well – leased lines allow you to do just that as they
are delivered over a high-capacity carrier-grade backbone network
that can easily be scaled up.
Below are some pros and cons of chosing between a leased line or standard business broadband.
Leased lines and Business broadband
Understanding the dierence between
Leased lines are a symmetric and
xed-bandwidth bre circuit, a
dedicated connection that goes
directly from premises to the chosen
carrier. Private trac means
maximum speed, safety and security.
A Business Broadband network, on
the other hand, usually connects the
end user to a BT telephone exchange
through a standard copper telephone
line, which then connects to the
internet on a shared bandwidth basis.
Giving variable speeds depending on
the local usage in your area.
Leased lines provide 99.99%
always-on, internet. 24/7, all year
round monitoring and support.
Ultra-low latency guaranteed
(under 10ms on average) from your
business site to the dedicated data
centre. QoS (quality of service)
integration allows for prioritisation of
Service such as a Voice.
Dedicated WAN connections allow for
speeds up to 1Gig, if required.
However, upon user request, 10Gig
connections can also be had. You
always get the maximum speed
available and there is no fluctuation in
the internet speed.
Leased lines can support a vast
number of users, and facilitate a
non-stop and highly reliable
connection, no matter how many
users are online.
A leased line is a dedicated fibre
connection. It gives you fixed
bandwidth identical upload and
download speeds and is not subject
to contention with other users. You
get the maximum bandwidth
available and it is the most reliable
internet connection you can buy in
the world.
Standard Broadband is not a dedicated
connection. It is subject to variable
bandwidth, is asymmetric, meaning
faster for downloads than for uploads,
and subject to contention with other
users as it is a shared product so
speeds will vary. This is most suited to
home users and very small businesses
who are not heavily reliant on the
internet,
Standard ADSL2+ Broadband is
usually good for up to 2-5 users at a
time, supporting low-level usage of
onsite, online or site-to-site
applications.
A standard ADSL2+ broadband
connection typically offers an average
contended/variable download speed of
8Mbps with an average upload speed
of less than 1Mbps. Some businesses
can get standard fibre broadband
(FFTC) which is also a
contented/variable speed product and
not suitable for growing businesses.
On the other hand, business
broadband has no availability
guarantee. There’s no service
agreement. Latency can often be as
high as 50ms. No QoS integration
At the end of the day, the only underlying dierence you really need to know is
Leased lines StandardBusiness
broadband
Ordering with us is made simple in nine easy steps:
How the Order Process Works
An initial site survey is conducted to establish the circuit route
within your business premises. A Wayleave (legal document
that approves the proposed installation work) may be required
and it is determined if your order can be delivered within cost
without any ECCs (excess construction charges).
We will acknowledge that your leased line circuit
is now ready to go live. Billing of the leased line
commences.
Your router is shipped to you, well
ahead of the “going live” date.
The designated carrier will physically conduct
a check on the route established. Work
commences on the external part of the route.
We’ll ask you to provide site access so that the final on
site works can be completed before implementation and
testing can be done before your leased line can be
brought live.
You are given confirmation the site survey results
and whether there are ECCs to be considered; in this
case, we will wait for your acceptance before
proceeding further.
It typically takes up to 10 business days for your order to be verified and accepted by the carrier.
Within the next 24 hours, your order is placed with the cheapest carrier;
We acknowledge your signed contract within 24 hours of receiving it.
