1667400 - Electronic Correction Letter (CCe) - SEFAZ rejection 578 - "The date of the event can not be greater than the date of processing"

Symptom

SEFAZ Rejection 578 (The date of the event can not be greater than the date of processing) while a electronic correction letter sent to be approved at SEFAZ, via NFe Monitor (J1BNFE).

Environment

SAP ERP Release IndependentGlobal Trade Services / Logistics Services - Brazil Nota Fiscal Electronica (NFe)

Reproducing the Issue

1. J1BNFE transaction, select a approved electronic Nota Fiscal (with status 100).2. Select the nota fiscal line, go to menu "NF-e Events" > "CCe" > "Create".

3. Write the correction letter (had to have more than 15 characters) and click on button "Send".

4. SEFAZ will reply with rejection 578.

Cause

This is a time zone configuration either in your ERP system/GRC or operation system.

Systems uses the ABAP command "GET TIME STAMP FIELD ls_event-issue_tmpl.", inside Funtion Module J_1BNFE_EVENT_PREPAREdocumentation, this ABAP command will returns the current UTC time zone. If you are using SAP NFE 1.0/10.0, the Brazilian time zone will be calculated later, before sending to SEFAZ. Thisis the code part:

If the time zone configuration is wrong in your SAP NFE 1.0/10.0 or in your SAP ERP systems, probably a wrong time will be sent in XML.

Resolution

Please, perform the following check in order to solve the problem:

Check the timestamp and time zone passed from your ERP system, a non standard time zone (e.g "ZBR") can be used and this had to me set in SAP NFE as well.Include J_1BNFE_MONITOR_CORRECTION_F01 / form CORRECTION_LETTER

On the imagine, this is the standard time zone.

Check if the time zone view (V_TTZZ) is corrected set and DST is set to BRAZIL, see how should looks like for Brazil time zone:

Check if DST view (TTZDV) had the correct information about when the daylight saving time will begin and end. If not, check a SAP Note

Check Operational system and SAP systems time and time zones.

Use the Reports in order to help on checks: RSDBTIME, TZCUSTHELP and TZCUSTDISP.
