On His last Punjab-tour in October 1973, Sant Kir-pal Singh visited the Agriculture Farm located nearNawanshar. Tere was one room made o mud andone Pacca-room beside a little room or the water-pump. Master stayed there nearly or y minutes.He took water rom the water-pump and a grain orice. Ten He blessed Kirpal Sagar which now has

been built beside the Farm.

With due permission o the Master, the name ManavKendra was changed to Kirpal Sagar beore Sant Kir-pal Singh le His physical body. Kirpal means Grace,Sagar means Ocean thus the name Kirpal Sagarmeans Ocean o Grace.

was also a certain animal which always attacks man.It is not injurious, but its teeth are very sharp. Onetime, when taking rest, he was bitten by this animaland his nose was bleeding. Tose boys wanted to takehim to the doctor nearby or dressing the wound, buthe said, No, there is a hospital, I have got it dressedover there.

Sometimes the boys used to say, Old man, you aresmelling, you should take a bath. He would reply,

Yes, here is a Sarovar, a holy tank, Im always takinga bath there. When they oered him to share theirood, he answered, No, there is a big common kitch-en here, I always take the ood rom here. All thetime he used to tell such things, and he even said,

Tere is a big temple, a house o God. So all peoplecalled him a mad person, who is seeing things whereother people dont see anything. Now those personsrom the neighbourhood believe that he was a holyman.

So, holy places are already xed by the Masterpower.Kings, premiers, and rich persons can create cities,but holy places are built only by the Masters, theyare built in the omnipresence o the Masterpower.Te guidance o the Master continues every mo-ment, and in spite o many problems in the begin-ning the commissioned Manav Kendra could be con-structed. Kirpal Bhawan is a function hallproviding place orthousands o people participating in unctions, cel-

ebrations and conerences. During these events spir-itual personalities as well as representatives o vari-ous religions and creeds give talks to a large audiencegathering rom all walks o lie wishing to learn andunderstand the basic truths being the true essence othe Holy Scriptures. Te basic subjects o these lec-tures is how to attain a direct connection with theinner Reality, and in a simple and clear language thesayings o the Saints and sages are explained and cor-related.

Since it was the wish of Sant Kirpal Singh to helpthe needy with medical care, the Kirpal Charita-

ble Hospital was the rst acility within the projectwhich took up its unction in 1983. Poor and needypeople are getting ree medical treatment and med-icine. Homeopathic, allopathic and naturopathictherapies are applied by doctors rom India and Ger-many. Furthermore, ambulances reach out to remote

villages at central gathering points, such as schools toprovide medical care or people. From time to timeeye specialists rom the Indian Government cometo Kirpal Sagar to perorm eye operations. A den-tists practice at the hospital provides dental care orthe people o the neighbouring area and also or the

students o the Kirpal Sagar Academy. Also prepara-tions or a Medical College are in progress. Studentso this Medical College will perorm their practicaltraining within the hospital.

In India due to poverty most of the old people,though they are loved by their amilies, dont livea comortable lie. So the Fathers Home is the direneed o the time. Old people, having their long lie-ex-periences, are able to put in their advices to help eachother. Moreover they are trained in dierent jobs,and i they are able to guide, they can be a tremen-dous help to untrained people within the project.

Tey will be aorded to study the purpose o humanlie, so that they may understand even in the eveningo their lie i they did not understand so ar. Tustheir end may be calm and smooth. Tose who wantto serve selessly will have the chance to do so. Teycan take up a suitable occupation in the various activ-ities o the Centre. So they may nd a ulllment inthe service o man and be careree in an atmosphereo physical and spiritual welare.

Gyan is not what is written in books, it is the sourceo all the knowledges o the world. We have to strive

hard to develop our children with the supremeknowledge, so that they know the source and handletheir own problems beore they identiy in the worldwith the so-called knowledge. Te idea o Sant Kir-pal Singh Ji was to create ideal children who whilestudying would be helped to know the very art o liewhich may urther lead them with the higher valueso lie. In the Kirpal Sagar Academy the children aretaught humanity above outer labels, rituals and rites,dierent dogmas, caste, colour or creed. In their dai-ly lie, beside the subjects, they learn sel-condenceand the spiritual aspects o lie through their teach-

ers who duely live a pure lie with high thoughts.

Te Kirpal Sagar Academy is a state-recognizedprivate school. Students rom poor amilies receivescholarships. Te classes ollow an international cur-riculum (CBSE-Standard). Te school has its owncharm to develop the children through debates, dec-lamations and contests which urther make themsel-centered.

Te Kirpal Harbhajan Public School starts withtwo Kindergarten classes, ollowed by 8 elementary

classes. Many o the children rom the surroundingareas attend the school receiving good educationwhich the otherwise could not aord.

Te Agriculture Farm provides wheat, rice, sugar,vegetables and vegetable oils to the Common Kitch-en and the mess or the Kirpal Sagar Academy. Tisland was barren, uneven, and unt to yield anything.Now by the help o many volunteer workers thewhole area has turned green and yields more thanrequired. One time Master stated that it is better togrow a blade o grass than to do a patriots work inones lie.

On 16 November, 2006 the Organic & Modern DairyFarm combinded with a huge composting and bi-ogas system was inaugurated by S.Jagmohan SinghKang, Minister o Animal Husbandry, Fishery, DairyDevelopment and ourism-Punjab. was inauguratedTere are cows and bualoes bred on the Farm pro-

viding sufcient milk or the Common Kitchen andthe School Mess.

Te competent Mastersused to maintain a commonkitchen, where the ood is cooked in sweet remem-

brance o God and people are taking ood together.

In Kirpal Sagar on certain occasions (Bhandaras)thousands o people participate at the meals. Dueto the Farm, the Centre is sel-sufcient with basicood.

Te two-storied building contains various ofces,a telephone exchange, a small printing press and acomputer room with public internet access.

During the early years helpers rom Europe visitingKirpal Sagar in small groups could be accommodatedin simple rooms in the Langar. Since then during thenineties the number o guests rom all over the worldhas increased at a steady rate, so that additional ac-

commodations were becoming necessary. Duringthe preparation o the World Conerence in 1994 aguesthouse was built according to Western standarts.From the guesthouse you can view all the main acili-ties surrounded by beautiul parks and gardens.

Kirpal Sagar has many workshops such as a ma-chine repair shop, marble cutting and polishing, car-

pentery workshops and garages, as well as a bakeryand a general store. Te also oer proessional jobtraining and provide job opportunities to local peo-ple.

Tere is a whole host o employed proessionals suchas masons, tailors, electricians, administrators, se-curity ofcers, arm hands, gardeners, kitchen sta,cleaning sta, and many more.
