LCVP ELECTION 2015 2016

If not you, then who? If not now, then when?

The Question is… Do you have courage to take up the challenge?

Aiesec in sim

Dear Candidates,

The time of the year has come when you must sit down and contemplate on the next part of your journey in AIESEC. Regardless of how long you have joined AIESEC, AIESEC provides the opportunity for everyone to take up a leadership opportunity and direct the path of the entity for the year ahead. Such is the beauty of AIESEC.

Naturally the question arises: Where do you see yourself in a year from now? From this question, one can delve into identifying the kind of experiences that can contribute towards achieving this dream. And this takes us to the role of the Executive Board (EB) member.

Every role offers different learning, different experiences and different challenges. Yet of all the roles, the role of the EB member is perhaps the most fulfilling and most challenging. A role that offers one a learning journey with an unmatched scope and capacity to mold the next generation of leaders. A role that can, in effect, offer you a multitude of experiences all within its scope.

In AIESEC in SIM’s short but rich history, all the 5 teams have contributed immensely in developing the LC to the stage we are at now: a highly respected LC in the network. Each team has left its own mark on the organisation. We stand at an important stage of our journey today. It took us a lot of effort this term to put our LC back on track in talent capacity and pipeline while having breakthrough in front office. Now, we have the potential to grow far more and become much more impactful in creating the positive impact on society.

And this is the challenge I extend to you, dear candidates:Will you take up the mantle and lead our LC to realize its potential and create history?

Every EB member’s journey started here. We all started as ordinary members who decided to take the next step in defining our LC’s journey as well as our own. With AIESEC in SIM’s unique tribal culture, at every step of the way, our LC will be there with you, supporting you as we collectively strive to realize our immense potential.

The journey will not be easy. But then again, nothing good in life comes easy.

The best is yet to be,

Fonsey FooOn behalf of the Executive Board 2014/2015AIESEC in SIM
