In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful


�ين# م%ب آن# �و+ق(ر +اب� �ت �ك ال +ات( آي �ل�ك+ ت +ر+ ال

[15:1] Alif Lam Ra. These are the verses of the Book and (of) a Quran that makes (things) clear.


� (وا +ان ك �+و ل � وا +ف+ر( ك �ذ�ين+ ال +و+د% ي +م+ا ب ر%�م�ين+ ل � م(س

[15:2] Often will those who disbelieve wish that they had been Muslims.


+م+ل( األ �ه�ه�م( (ل و+ي � �ع(وا +م+ت +ت و+ي � (وا (ل �ك +أ ي �ه(م �ذ+ر+م(ون+ +ع�ل ي و�ف+ ف+س+

[15:3] Leave them that they may eat and enjoy themselves and (that) hope may beguile them, for

they will soon know.


Eاب+ �ت ك +ه+ا و+ل � �ال إ +ة# ي �ق+ر م�ن +ا �ن +ك +ه�ل أ و+م+اEوم) م�ع�ل

[15:4] And never did We destroy a town but it had a term made known.


و+م+ا +ه+ا ل ج++ أ م�ة#

) أ �م�ن �ق( ب �+س ت م�اون+ �خ�ر( +أ ت �+س ي

[15:5] No people can hasten on their doom nor can they postpone (it).


�ر( الذOك �ه� +ي ع+ل ل+ Oز) ن �ذ�ي ال %ه+ا ي+ أ +ا ي � (وا و+ق+ال

Eون) ن �+م+ج ل �ك+ �ن إ

[15:6] And they say: O you to whom the Reminder has been revealed! you are most surely insane:


م�ن+ (نت+ ك �ن إ +ة� �ك �م+الئ �ال ب +ا �ين �ت +أ ت م+ا ��و ل الص�اد�ق�ين+

[15:7] Why do you not bring to us the angels if you are of the truthful ones?


� (وا +ان ك و+م+ا Oالح+ق� ب � �ال إ +ة+ �ك �م+الئ ال ل( Oز+ (ن ن م+ام%نظ+ر�ين+ �ذ]ا إ

[15:8] We do not send the angels but with truth, and then they would not be respited.


+ح+اف�ظ(ون+ ل +ه( ل �ا �ن و+إ �ر+ الذOك +ا �ن ل +ز� ن +ح�ن( ن �ا �ن إ

[15:9] Surely We have revealed the Reminder and We will most surely be its guardian.


+ع� ي ش� ف�ي �ل�ك+ ق+ب م�ن +ا �ن ل س+ �ر+ أ �+ق+د و+ل

�ين+ و�ل+ األ

[15:10] And certainly We sent (messengers) before you among the nations of yore.


�ه� ب � (وا +ان ك � �ال إ س(ول# ر� مOن �يه�م ت� +أ ي و+م+ا

(ون+ +ه�ز�ئ ت �+س ي

[15:11] And there never came a messenger to them but they mocked him.


�م(ج�ر�م�ين+ ال ق(ل(وب� ف�ي (ه( (ك ل �+س ن �ك+ +ذ+ل ك

[15:12] Thus do We make it to enter into the hearts of the guilty;


�ين+ و�ل+ األ �ة( ن س( �خ+ل+ت �و+ق+د �ه� ب (ون+ (ؤ�م�ن ي + ال

[15:13] They do not believe in it, and indeed the example of the former people has already passed.


م+اء الس� مOن+ ]ا +اب ب �ه�م +ي ع+ل +ا ن �+ح ف+ت �+و و+لج(ون+ +ع�ر( ي ف�يه� � %وا ف+ظ+ل

[15:14] And even if We open to them a gateway of heaven, so that they ascend into it all the while,


+ح�ن( ن �+ل ب +ا ن �ص+ار( +ب أ �ت Oر+ ك س( �م+ا �ن إ � (وا +ق+ال لون+ ح(ور( �م�س Eم� ق+و

[15:15] They would certainly say: Only our eyes have been covered over, rather we are an

enchanted people.


وج]ا (ر( ب م+اء الس� ف�ي +ا �ن ج+ع+ل �+ق+د و+ل�اظ�ر�ين+ �لن ل �اه+ا �ن ي و+ز+

[15:16] And certainly We have made strongholds in the heaven and We have made it fair seeming

to the beholders.


# ج�يم ر� �ط+ان# ي ش+ Oل) ك م�ن +اه+ا و+ح+ف�ظ�ن

[15:17] And We guard it against every accursed Shaitan,


Eه+اب ش� +ع+ه( �ب ت+ ف+أ م�ع+ الس� ق+ +ر+ ت �اس م+ن� � �ال إ

Eين� م%ب

[15:18] But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame.


ي+ و+اس� ر+ ف�يه+ا +ا �ن �ق+ي +ل و+أ +اه+ا م+د+د�ن ر�ض++ و+األ

ون# م�و�ز( ي�ء# ش+ Oل) ك م�ن ف�يه+ا +ا �ن +ت +نب و+أ

[15:19] And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in

it of every suitable thing.


�(م ت ��س ل و+م+ن �ش+ م+ع+اي ف�يه+ا �(م +ك ل +ا �ن و+ج+ع+لاز�ق�ين+ �ر+ ب +ه( ل

[15:20] And We have made in it means of subsistence for you and for him for whom you

are not the suppliers.


و+م+ا (ه( �ن ائ خ+ز+ +ا ع�ند+ن � �ال إ ي�ء# ش+ مOن �ن و+إ # (وم م�ع�ل �ق+د+ر# ب � �ال إ (ه( ل Oز+ (ن ن

[15:21] And there is not a thing but with Us are the treasures of it, and We do not send it down but in

a known measure.


م�ن+ +ا �ن ل +نز+ ف+أ +و+اق�ح+ ل +اح+ ي Oالر +ا �ن ل س+ �ر+ و+أ

�(م +نت أ و+م+ا (م(وه( +اك �ن ق+ي �س+ ف+أ م+اء م+اء الس��ين+ �خ+از�ن ب +ه( ل

[15:22] And We send the winds fertilizing, then send down water from the cloud so We give it to

you to drink of, nor is it you who store it up.


+ح�ن( و+ن (م�يت( و+ن �ي ي �(ح ن +ح�ن( +ن ل �ا و+إن(ون+ �و+ار�ث ال

[15:23] And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs.


�+ق+د و+ل �(م م�نك +ق�د�م�ين+ ت ��م(س ال +ا �م�ن ع+ل �+ق+د و+ل�خ�ر�ين+ +أ ت ��م(س ال +ا �م�ن ع+ل

[15:24] And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those

who shall come later.


Eح+ك�يم �ه( �ن إ �ه(م ر( +ح�ش( ي ه(و+ �ك+ ب ر+ �ن� و+إEيم� ع+ل

[15:25] And surely your Lord will gather them together; surely He is Wise, Knowing.


�مOن ص+ل�ص+ال# م�ن ان+ �نس+ اإل +ا +ق�ن ل خ+ �+ق+د و+ل(ون# ن �م�س # ح+م+إ

[15:26] And certainly We created man of clay that gives forth sound, of black mud fashioned in

shape.


�ار� ن م�ن �ل( ق+ب م�ن +اه( +ق�ن ل خ+ �ج+آن� و+ال

� م(وم الس�

[15:27] And the jinn We created before, of intensely hot fire.


Eق� ال خ+ Oي �ن إ +ة� �ك +ئ �م+ال �ل ل %ك+ ب ر+ ق+ال+ ��ذ و+إ # ح+م+إ �مOن ص+ل�ص+ال# مOن ا ر] +ش+ ب

(ون# ن � م�س

[15:28] And when your Lord said to the angels: Surely I am going to create a mortal of the essence of black mud fashioned in shape.


وح�ي ر% م�ن ف�يه� +ف+خ�ت( و+ن (ه( �ت و�ي س+ �ذ+ا ف+إاج�د�ين+ س+ +ه( ل � ف+ق+ع(وا

[15:29] So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down making

obeisance to him.


+ج�م+ع(ون+ أ �%ه(م (ل ك +ة( �ك �م+آلئ ال ج+د+ ف+س+

[15:30] So the angels made obeisance, all of them together,


م+ع+ (ون+ +ك ي +ن أ +ى +ب أ �ل�يس+ �ب إ � �ال إاج�د�ين+ الس�

[15:31] But Iblis (did it not); he refused to be with those who made obeisance.


م+ع+ (ون+ +ك ت � +ال أ +ك+ ل م+ا �ل�يس( �ب إ +ا ي ق+ال+اج�د�ين+ الس�

[15:32] He said: O Iblis! what excuse have you that you are not with those who make obeisance?


م�ن +ه( +ق�ت ل خ+ ر# +ش+ �ب ل ج(د+ �+س Oأل (ن +ك أ �+م ل ق+ال+(ون# ن �م�س # ح+م+إ �مOن ص+ل�ص+ال#

[15:33] He said: I am not such that I should make obeisance to a mortal whom Thou hast created of

the essence of black mud fashioned in shape.


Eج�يم ر+ �ك+ �ن ف+إ �ه+ا م�ن �ج ف+اخ�ر( ق+ال+

[15:34] He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away:


الدOين� � +و�م ي +ى �ل إ +ة+ �ع�ن الل �ك+ +ي ع+ل �ن� و+إ

[15:35] And surely on you is curse until the day of judgment.


(ون+ �ع+ث (ب ي � +و�م ي +ى �ل إ �ي ن �+نظ�ر ف+أ Oب ر+ ق+ال+

[15:36] He said: My Lord! then respite me till the time when they are raised.


�م(نظ+ر�ين+ ال م�ن+ �ك+ �ن ف+إ ق+ال+

[15:37] He said: So surely you are of the respited ones


� (وم �م+ع�ل ال �و+ق�ت� ال � +وم ي �ل+ى إ

[15:38] Till the period of the time made known.


ف�ي �+ه(م ل +ن� Oن ي (ز+ أل �ي +ن �ت +غ�و+ي أ �م+ا ب Oب ر+ ق+ال++ج�م+ع�ين+ أ ��ه(م +ن (غ�و�ي و+أل ر�ض�

[15:39] He said: My Lord! because Thou hast made life evil to me, I will certainly make (evil) fair-seeming to them on earth, and I will certainly

cause them all to deviate


�م(خ�ل+ص�ين+ ال �ه(م( م�ن +اد+ك+ ب ع� � �ال إ

[15:40] Except Thy servants from among them, the devoted ones.


Eق�يم+ ت �م(س ع+ل+ي� Eاط ص�ر+ ه+ذ+ا ق+ال+

[15:41] He said: This is a right way with Me:


Eط+ان�ل س( ��ه�م +ي ع+ل +ك+ ل �س+ +ي ل +اد�ي ب ع� �ن� إ�غ+او�ين+ ال م�ن+ +ع+ك+ �ب ات م+ن� � �ال إ

[15:42] Surely. as regards My servants, you have no authority, over them except those who follow

you of the deviators.


+ج�م+ع�ين+ أ �+م+و�ع�د(ه(م ل �م+ ج+ه+ن �ن� و+إ

[15:43] And surely Hell is the promised place of them all:


Eء �ج(ز ��ه(م مOن +اب# ب Oل) Oك ل �و+اب# ب+ أ �ع+ة( ب س+ +ه+ا ل

Eوم م�ق�س(

[15:44] It has seven gates; for every gate there shall be a separate party of them.


(ون# و+ع(ي �ات# ن ج+ ف�ي �ق�ين+ �م(ت ال �ن� إ

[15:45] Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in the midst of gardens and fountains:


�ين+ آم�ن # +م ال �س+ ب (وه+ا ل اد�خ(

[15:46] Enter them in peace, secure.


غ�ل{ �مOن ص(د(ور�ه�م ف�ي م+ا +ا ع�ن +ز+ و+ن�ين+ �ل +ق+اب م%ت ر# ر( س( ع+ل+ى ]ا �خ�و+ان إ

[15:47] And We will root out whatever of rancor is in their breasts-- (they shall be) as brethren, on

raised couches, face to face.


�ه+ا مOن ه(م و+م+ا Eص+ب+ ن ف�يه+ا �ه(م +م+س% ي + الج�ين+ �م(خ�ر+ ب

[15:48] Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it.


ح�يم( الر� �غ+ف(ور( ال +ا +ن أ Oي +ن أ +اد�ي ب ع� �Oئ +ب ن

[15:49] Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful,


�يم+ +ل األ �ع+ذ+اب( ال ه(و+ �ي ع+ذ+اب +ن� أ و+

[15:50] And that My punishment-- that is the painful punishment.


+ه�يم+ �را ب � إ �ف� ض+ي ع+ن ��ه(م Oئ +ب و+ن

[15:51] And inform them of the guests of Ibrahim:


�ا �ن إ ق+ال+ س+الم]ا � (وا ف+ق+ال �ه� +ي ع+ل � (وا ل د+خ+ ��ذ إ(ون+ ل و+ج� �(م م�نك

[15:52] When they entered upon him, they said, Peace. He said: Surely we are afraid of you.


# �يم ع+ل # �غ(الم ب ك+ ر( Oش+ (ب ن �ا �ن إ �+و�ج+ل ت + ال � (وا ق+ال

[15:53] They said: Be not afraid, surely we give you the good news of a boy, possessing

knowledge.


�ي+ ن م�س� +ن أ ع+ل+ى �ي (م(ون ت �ر +ش� +ب أ ق+ال+ون+ ر( Oش+ (ب ت �م+ ف+ب +ر( �ب �ك ال

[15:54] He said: Do you give me good news (of a son) when old age has come upon me?-- Of what

then do you give me good news!


مOن+ (ن +ك ت + ف+ال Oح+ق� �ال ب +اك+ ن �ر +ش� ب � (وا ق+ال�ط�ين+ �ق+ان ال

[15:55] They said: We give you good news with truth, therefore be not of the despairing.


� �ال إ Oه� ب ر+ ح�م+ة� ر� م�ن +ط( +ق�ن ي و+م+ن ق+ال+%ون+ الض�آل

[15:56] He said: And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord but the erring ones?


(ون+ ل س+ ��م(ر ال %ه+ا ي+ أ �(م (ك خ+ط�ب ف+م+ا ق+ال+

[15:57] He said: What is your business then, O messengers?


م%ج�ر�م�ين+ # ق+و�م �ل+ى إ +ا �ن ل س� �ر) أ �ا �ن إ � (وا ق+ال

[15:58] They said: Surely we are sent towards a guilty people,


+ج�م+ع�ين+ أ �+ج%وه(م +م(ن ل �ا �ن إ (وط# ل آل+ � �ال إ

[15:59] Except Lut's followers: We will most surely deliver them all,


�ر�ين+ �غ+اب ال +م�ن+ ل �ه+ا �ن إ +ا ن �ق+د�ر +ه( ت+ أ ام�ر+ � �ال إ

[15:60] Except his wife; We ordained that she shall surely be of those who remain behind.


(ون+ ل س+ ��م(ر ال (وط# ل آل+ ج+اء +م�ا ف+ل

[15:61] So when the messengers came to Lut's followers,


ون+ +ر( م%نك Eم�ق+و �(م �ك �ن إ ق+ال+

[15:62] He said: Surely you are an unknown people.


ف�يه� � (وا +ان ك �م+ا ب +اك+ �ن ئ ج� �+ل ب � (وا ق+الون+ +ر( +م�ت ي

[15:63] They said: Nay, we have come to you with that about which they disputed.


+ص+اد�ق(ون+ ل �ا �ن و+إ Oح+ق� +ال ب +اك+ �ن +ي +ت و+أ

[15:64] And we have come to you with the truth, and we are most surely truthful.


��ع �ب و+ات �ل� �ي الل مOن+ �ق�ط�ع# ب +ه�ل�ك+ �أ ب ر� �س+ ف+أ

� و+ام�ض(وا Eح+د+ أ �(م م�نك �+ف�ت �ت +ل ي + و+ال �ه(م +ار+ +د�ب أون+ (ؤ�م+ر( ت �ث( ح+ي

[15:65] Therefore go forth with your followers in a part of the night and yourself follow their rear, and let not any one of you turn round, and go forth whither you

are commanded.


ه+ؤ(الء �ر+ د+اب +ن� أ +م�ر+ األ �ك+ ذ+ل �ه� +ي �ل إ +ا �ن و+ق+ض+ي�ح�ين+ م%ص�ب Eط(وع� م+ق

[15:66] And We revealed to him this decree, that the roots of these shall be cut off in the morning.


ون+ ر( �ش� +ب ت �+س ي +ة� �م+د�ين ال +ه�ل( أ و+ج+اء

[15:67] And the people of the town came rejoicing.


+ف�ض+ح(ون� ت + ف+ال �ف�ي ض+ي ه+ؤ(الء �ن� إ ق+ال+

[15:68] He said: Surely these are my guests, therefore do not disgrace me,


ون� (خ�ز( ت + و+ال �ه+ الل �ق(وا و+ات

[15:69] And guard against (the punishment of) Allah and do not put me to shame.


+م�ين+ �ع+ال ال ع+ن� �ه+ك+ +ن ن �+م و+ل+ أ (وا ق+ال

[15:70] They said: Have we not forbidden you from (other) people?


�ين+ ل ف+اع� �(م (نت ك �ن إ �ي +ات +ن ب ه+ؤ(الء ق+ال+

[15:71] He said: These are my daughters, if you will do (aught).


+ع�م+ه(ون+ ي ��ه�م ت �ر+ ك س+ +ف�ي ل ��ه(م �ن إ ك+ +ع+م�ر( ل

[15:72] By your life! they were blindly wandering on in their intoxication.


ر�ق�ين+ �م(ش �ح+ة( الص�ي �ه(م( +خ+ذ+ت ف+أ

[15:73] So the rumbling overtook them (while) entering upon the time of sunrise;


+ا ن �م�ط+ر+ و+أ +ه+ا اف�ل س+ +ه+ا �ي ع+ال +ا �ن ف+ج+ع+ل

جOيل# س� مOن ة] ح�ج+ار+ ��ه�م +ي ع+ل

[15:74] Thus did We turn it upside down, and rained down upon them stones of what had been

decreed.


م�ين+ Oو+س+ �م(ت Oل ل +ات# آلي �ك+ ذ+ل ف�ي �ن� إ

[15:75] Surely in this are signs for those who examine.


# م%قيم �يل# ب �س+ +ب ل �ه+ا �ن و+إ

[15:76] And surely it is on a road that still abides.


�ين+ �م(ؤم�ن Oل ل +ة] آلي �ك+ ذ+ل ف�ي �ن� إ

[15:77] Most surely there is a sign in this for the believers.


�م�ين+ +ظ+ال ل +ة� �ك +ي األ ص�ح+اب(+ أ +ان+ ك �ن و+إ

[15:78] And the dwellers of the thicket also were most surely unjust.


�ين# م%ب # �م+ام �إ +ب ل �ه(م+ا �ن و+إ ��ه(م م�ن +ا +ق+م�ن ف+انت

[15:79] So We inflicted retribution on them, and they are both, indeed, on an open road (still)

pursued.


ر� �الح�ج ص�ح+اب(+ أ +ذ�ب+ ك �+ق+د و+ل

�ين+ ل س+ ��م(ر ال

[15:80] And the dwellers of the Rock certainly rejected the messengers;


م(ع�ر�ض�ين+ �ه+ا ع+ن � (وا +ان ف+ك +ا �ن +ات آي �+اه(م �ن +ي و+آت

[15:81] And We gave them Our communications, but they turned aside from them;


]ا (وت (ي ب +ال� ب �ج� ال م�ن+ (ون+ ت �ح� +ن ي � (وا +ان و+ك�ين+ آم�ن

[15:82] And they hewed houses in the mountains in security.


�ح�ين+ م(ص�ب �ح+ة( الص�ي �ه(م( +خ+ذ+ت ف+أ

[15:83] So the rumbling overtook them in the morning;


(ون+ ب �س� +ك ي � (وا +ان ك م�ا �ه(م ع+ن +ى +غ�ن أ ف+م+ا

[15:84] And what they earned did not avail them.


و+م+ا ر�ض++ و+األ م+او+ات� الس� +ا +ق�ن ل خ+ و+م+ا

Eة+ �ي آلت اع+ة+ الس� �ن� و+إ Oح+ق� �ال ب � �ال إ +ه(م+ا �ن +ي ب�ج+م�يل+ ال الص�ف�ح+ ف+اص�ف+ح�

[15:85] And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them two but in truth; and the hour is most surely coming, so turn away

with kindly forgiveness.


�يم( �ع+ل ال �ق( �خ+ال ال ه(و+ �ك+ ب ر+ �ن� إ

[15:86] Surely your Lord is the Creator of all things, the Knowing.


+ان�ي �م+ث ال مOن+ �ع]ا ب س+ +اك+ �ن +ي آت �+ق+د و+ل�ع+ظ�يم+ ال آن+ ��ق(ر و+ال

[15:87] And certainly We have given you seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the grand Quran.


و+اج]ا �+ز أ �ه� ب +ا �ع�ن م+ت م+ا �ل+ى إ �ك+ +ي �ن ع+ي +م(د�ن� ت + ال �و+اخ�ف�ض ��ه�م +ي ع+ل �ن +ح�ز+ ت + و+ال ��ه(م مOن

�ين+ �م(ؤ�م�ن �ل ل +اح+ك+ ن ج+

[15:88] Do not strain your eyes after what We have given certain classes of them to enjoy, and do not grieve for them, and make yourself gentle to the

believers.


�ين( �م(ب ال �ذ�ير( الن +ا +ن أ Oي �ن إ � و+ق(ل

[15:89] And say: Surely I am the plain warner.


م�ين+ +س� الم(ق�ت ع+ل+ى +ا �ن ل +نز+ أ +م+ا ك

[15:90] Like as We sent down on the dividers


ع�ض�ين+ آن+ ��ق(ر ال (وا ج+ع+ل �ذ�ين+ ال

[15:91] Those who made the Quran into shreds.


�ن+ +ج�م+ع�ي أ ��ه(م +ن ل+ أ �+س +ن ل Oك+ ب ف+و+ر+

[15:92] So, by your Lord, We would most certainly question them all,


(ون+ +ع�م+ل ي (وا +ان ك ع+م�ا

[15:93] As to what they did.


ع+ن� �+ع�ر�ض و+أ (ؤ�م+ر( ت �م+ا ب �ف+اص�د+ع�ين+ ر�ك ��م(ش ال

[15:94] Therefore declare openly what you are bidden and turn aside from the polytheists.


�ين+ +ه�ز�ئ ت ��م(س ال +اك+ �ن +ف+ي ك �ا �ن إ

[15:95] Surely We will suffice you against the scoffers


ر+ آخ+ �لـه]ا إ �ه� الل م+ع+ +ج�ع+ل(ون+ ي �ذ�ين+ ال+م(ون+ +ع�ل ي و�ف+ ف+س+

[15:96] Those who set up another god with Allah; so they shall soon know.


�م+ا ب ك+ ص+د�ر( +ض�يق( ي �ك+ +ن أ +م( +ع�ل ن �+ق+د و+ل(ون+ +ق(ول ي

[15:97] And surely We know that your breast straitens at what they say;


مOن+ (ن و+ك Oك+ ب ر+ �ح+م�د� ب �Oح ب ف+س+اج�د�ين+ الس�

[15:98] Therefore celebrate the praise of your Lord, and be of those who make obeisance.


+ق�ين( �ي ال +ك+ �ي ت� +أ ي �ى ت ح+ �ك+ ب ر+ �(د و+اع�ب

[15:99] And serve your Lord until there comes to you that which is certain.
