● Stephanie Lampkin grew up with many inspirational women in her life, such as her mom and aunt, who both helped her be as successful as she is today.

● She had an interest in computer coding since she was young. ● She created something that has tackled discrimination in the

workplace and will continue to impact people outside of it as well.● This app, which she named Blendoor, made it easier for people who

may get discriminated against to get a job in an easier, unbiased way. It has leveled the playing field.

● Although she has made one of the most important new technology creations, she is still a completely humble and normal person.

who once held the world record for being the youngest person to climb Mount Everest at 15 years old!

Ming Kipa is a Nepalese Sherpa Girl. Nepalese laws did not allow climbers under the age of 16 to climb Mount Everest. Showing determination and perseverance she did not let that stop her. She set to go up the mountain

on the Chinese side and reached the summit on May 22, 2003.

Megan wants to provide the public with more information on micro plastics and how they are affecting marine life to make the public aware on how even the smallest pollution is having great effects on marine life.

Megan wants to continue to study micro plastics and how its pollution is affecting plankton. Plankton are a very small sea animals that provides food for small sea creatures. She is continuing her study on how the plastics are polluting plankton which will then pollute other animals to keep others aware and help to fight water pollution.

SHE NEVER GAVE UP.

Bethany went through many major surgeries and she persevered through to recovery.

When she was in the hospital a couple of days after the shark attack, she was already thinking about getting back in the water and competing.

When she was bit in the arm, she reacted with strength. She knew she needed help so she began paddling back to shore with her uninjured arm

She knew she was going get back to the beach and would survive this hard time in her life .

● Anne Frank is an international icon as a Jewish victim of the Holocaust

● Anne kept a diary while she was in hiding for two years with her family in a secret annex during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands

● In 1944, the Franks were found by the German police and were sent to the Auschwitz concentration camp. Later Anne and Margot were sent to Bergen-Belsen

● Her father, the only survivor of the family, published her diary, and it has become one of the most read and translated books in the world

● Though her life was short, Anne’s legacy through her diary has impacted millions of readers and the world, and her writings continue to inspire young female audiences
