The risk of air conditioning spreading coronavirus (COVID-19) in

the workplace is extremely low as long as there is an adequate

supply of fresh air and ventilation. Air conditioning is on all floors

and in meeting rooms. The air conditioning is set a consistent

temperature. Filters to ISO 16890 installed are a pre filter at EU4

(GU4) 60% coarse and also secondary filtration at F7 (EU7) filter.

EU4 is 90% Arrestance and EU7 80-90% Efficiency.

2 3 2 Staff are not allowed to adjust and unit is set on a

preset temperature and air will always flow. Filters

are changed on a regular basis on a service contract

with Ashworths.

From 1st August people who are clinicaly extremely vulnerable

can go back to work if the workplace Covid 19 secure, but carry on

working from home if you can. Clinically extremely vulnerable

people with cancer who are undergoing active chemotherapy

people with lung cancer who are undergoing radical radiotherapy

people with cancers of the blood or bone marrow such as

leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma who are at any stage of

people having immunotherapy or other continuing antibody

people having other targeted cancer treatments that can affect

the immune system, such as protein kinase inhibitors or PARP

inhibitors

people who have had bone marrow or stem cell transplants in the

last 6 months or who are still taking immunosuppression drugs

people with severe respiratory conditions including all cystic

fibrosis, severe asthma and severe chronic obstructive pulmonary

disease (COPD)

people with rare diseases that significantly increase the risk of

infections (such as severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID),

homozygous sickle cell)

people on immunosuppression therapies sufficient to significantly

increase risk of infection

women who are pregnant with significant heart disease,

congenital or acquired

other people who have also been classed as clinically extremely

vulnerable, based on clinical judgement and an assessment of

their needs.

2 3 12 Any employee returning from sheilding will be given

a tour by Dept Manager to show COVID/Office

protocols in place. If you’re clinically extremely

vulnerable and live in an area where additional public

health measures require you to resume shielding, the

government will write to you and advise you to stay

at home and shield. In the

event of a local lockdown, visit the local authority’s

website for further guidance and follow the public

health guidance for the persons local area.

If they work inside an area where clinically extremely

vulnerable people are still being advised to shield,

they are advised to work from home where possible,

and not attend a workplace within the area where

local restrictions are in place.

If they live outside of that area, they may need to

request a shielding letter as proof for your employer

that they cannot attend your usual workplace.

that can be left open are wedged open to

allow suitable distance for passing safely. Fire

Marshalls trained to remove blocks from open

doors to ensure a fire safe building on alarm

activation. Certain WC doors cannot be left

open, certain office doors will remain closed

due to fire regulations and integrity of the

building, hand sanitizer deployed in these

areas so that gel can be applied immediately

after touching.

Seating will be arranged with a 2.3m gap

between each employee sat at their work

station(every other), Employee's opposite will

be at 2m with two large screens between

them. No staff will be seated directly next to

one another unless from the same household.

Each employee will allocated a numbered

desk, they must stick with this desk and not

hot desk. Employees back to back must not

turn around and hold discussions as the

distance is less than 2m (approx 1.5m) unless

wearing a face covering or other mitigating

risk.
