The Holy Trinity Pastoral Council

Needs You!!!

The Holy Trinity Pastoral Council kindly requests that

all members of the Parish pray for us and guide us as we

seek to fill vacancies on the Pastoral Council. Please

help us to identify persons in this faith community who

you feel would support the entire Parish as we strive to

enhance our sense of and commitment to Evangelization,

Worship, Service, Community, Stewardship and the

Word. Anyone interested in serving on the Pastoral

Council or knowing a qualified candidate should contact

the Parish Office at (724)238-6434 or Lisa Moeller at

(724)235-2491. The Pastoral Council meets once a

month on the 3rd Thursday of the month. The meeting

lasts approximately 1.5 hours. The commitment is for

three years. This is a great way to get involved in the

Parish. Please search your hearts and get involved. We

need you!

Natural Family Planning Instruction July 16

Natural Family Planning CM-BBT instruction will be

July 16 at 6 PM in the Catholic Charities office in

Greensburg. Please call at least one week prior to the

instruction date to pre-register. Contact Mary Ann

Newhouse at Catholic Charities at 724-837-1840, ext.

1658 for additional information or to register for this or

an upcoming class. For more information about Natural

Family Planning and the CM-BBT method,

Sisters of Charity Fine Arts Camp

The Seton Arts Service Corps of the Sisters of Charity

of Seton Hill will sponsor a fine arts camp for children in

grades 2-8 July 23-27 from 9 AM to 12:30 PM at Caritas

Christi. Registration is $10. Call 724-836-0406.

Registration is due by July 6.

2018 DLA Goal Met and Now Exceeded!

Thanks to the generosity and additional support provided by those individuals attending Holy Trinity

Parish, we now have pledges in excess of our $75,000 goal. As of this past Monday, the total of pledges

was $77,008.40. Thank you to everyone that returned their pledge card recently, whether to the parish

or the Diocesan Office, or made an additional gift. May God bless your generosity!

News from St. Vincent Basilica

St. Vincent Basilica Parish is holding the

Following Christ course for those who have

completed Discovering Christ on Tuesday

nights from 7-9 PM starting June 12 and

ending on July 31 (no July 3rd meeting),

with a life-changing retreat on Sunday, July

St. John’s Fire Celebration at

Diocesan Heritage Center June 24

The Diocesan Heritage Center and Knights

of Malta will host a St. John’s Fire Celebra-

tion June 24, the Solemnity of the Nativity of

St. John the Baptist, at the Bishop Connare

Center at 7 PM. The event features guest

chef Josh Ross of Pirata in Pittsburgh and

the Cooking Channel. Suggested donation

is $25. All proceeds benefit the Diocesan

Heritage Center. Register online at

Ordination of Deacon Daniel Carr

to the priesthood June 30

Bishop Edward C. Malesic has called Deacon Daniel

E. Carr to the responsibility of the presbyterate. The

priesthood ordination will be celebrated Saturday,

June 30, at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral.

Please keep Deacon Carr in your prayers and continue

to pray for all people discerning God’s call to the

priesthood.

The third annual Memorial Mass for Miscarriage, Stillbirth,

Infant or Child Loss will be celebrated July 25 at 6 PM at
