Your O2 card is tri-band and is designed to work on GPRS networks – asused in many countries around the world – and 3G, the new networks justbecoming available. The card can be set to automatically swap betweenGPRS and 3G – you will see this by the change in the flashing light, fromblue to green and vice versa.

In GPRS mode your average speeds will be equivalent to a dial-up connectionfrom your home PC.

In 3G mode you can achieve speeds close to home broadband.

The speed of your connection is affected by several factors includingcoverage, other users, and what network you’re connected to.

And if you have a WLAN enabled laptop, why not sign up for O2’s Wireless LAN service allowing you broadband access to the Internet at key locationsacross the UK and Europe. Contact your service provider for more details.
