    man... iam not going to lie.. all of you guys with the 290x's that can't reach 900 khash... you just need to add 1 line to your confg file.... and you will hitit EASYQuote:"gpu-vddc" : "1.025",

    just TRUST me on this.... i know its a huge drop in volts... but I spent 2 daysstraight trying to get my 290 ( i have a regular MSI 290 with REFERANCE COOLER)and i have been mining with 820-890 khash now..... and it is an inferior card tothe 290x....

    But i was just like you guys.. i was mining with like 400-600khash... its was pathetic... and all my problems was solved when i ran into this website.. and alsothe "golden confg file in this thread..."

    I couldn't figure out what i was doing wrong.. and why i couldn't hit 900 khash..... but for some reason.. the card throttles like crazy, and doing a simple thing like turning down the VDDC allows you to utilize more of the card at lower clocks...

    i don't know what iam going to do as the weather is getting warmer.. because this thing is a SPACE HEATER.

    My base/reference version of the "golden config" file that i use personallyQuote:}],"intensity" : "20",

    "vectors" : "1","worksize" : "512","lookup-gap" : "2","thread-concurrency" : "32765","gpu-vddc" : "1.025","gpu-engine" : "990","gpu-fan" : "20-100","gpu-memclock" : "1500","gpu-powertune" : "20","temp-cutoff" : "99","temp-overheat" : "95","temp-target" : "90","expiry" : "1",

    "failover-only" : true,"log" : "5","queue" : "0","scan-time" : "1","device" : "1","gpu-threads" : "1"}

    as for my tweaks, i would turn the GPU anywhere from 930-1100 Mhz, i really can't tell much of a difference... so i been using the "golden config" reference which was 990Mhz, in general i keep the mem the same at 1500Mhz, as the timings get

    thrown off a bit when go higher then 1500Mhz. and of course you gotta keep thatratio of .7 Core clock to GPU clock.... its everywhere (well known)... that yougotta keep it at a .7 ratio.. for example 1050 Core Mhz/1500 Memory Mhz = .7 you would be on the money with that setup. when your going too low or too high ofa ratio your khash goes way down... doesn't matter how high or low your clocks are... but that ratio is important to get the max out of your performance.

    In Afterburner, enable unofficial overclocking - without powerplay, also disableULPS, reboot - try again.
