A walk-in interview would be conducted for the following new vacancy positions in TANUVAS at Madras
Veterinary College & Translationa l Research Platform for Veterinary Biologicals under the UKRI GCRF One
Health Poultry Hub Scheme.
Title of Project Positions No of Qualifications Posts.
Project Undergraduate degree in any Life Sciences Assistant Two course with 2 years experience in
biological Laboratories is highly preferable
Project Undergraduate degree in any Life Sciences Assistant One course with 2 years experience in field
survey is highly preferable
UKRI GCRF One Health Project Bachelor of Computer Applications I Poultry Hub Assistant for Computer Science with Diploma in Office
Secretarial One Automation with 2 years experience in services office and accounting work
Pass in English & Tamil typing by Directorate of Technical Education is must.
Field worker lOtn standard Pass/Fail
One With 2 years experience in sample collection from poultry farms and basic sample processing work.
All the posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the projects.

Salary (Consolidated)
Rs.20,000/- + H RA Per month
Rs.20,000/- + H RA Per month
Rs.20,000/- + H RA Per month
Rs.15,000/- Per month
• Candidates with full bio data are requested to attend the walk in interview to be held at Dept. of
Veterinary Microbiology, Madras Veterinary College, Vepery, Chennai - 600 007 for the written
test and interview on 30.10.2019 at 11.00 AM with original certificates in support of age, qualifications,
Photo ID card and experience certificate (if any).
• Working personnel are requested to attend the interview with No objection letter from the present
employer.
• Mere attending the interview does not guarantee them the appointment and the selection will be
based purely on merit basis.
• This employment is purely scheme based and temporary appointment. She/he should not claim
the period of work fo r university service
• No TA and DA will be provided for attending the interview.
• A written test and a typing competency test would be conducted for one-hour duration.

Post Graduate degree in basic science OR Graduate/Post Graduate degree in professional course with
Senior a. National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-Research Two UGC NET including lectureship and
UKRI GCRF One Health Fellow GATE. Poultry Hub b. National level examinations
conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions Such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
C. 2 years of research experience All the posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the projects.

• Candidates with full bio data are requested to walk in to TRPVB,2nd floor, Central University Laboratory
(CUL) Building, TANUVAS, Madhavaram Milk Colony, Chennai - 600 051 for the written test and interview on 31.10.2019 at 11.00 AM with original certificates in support of age, qualifications, Photo ID card, experience certificate, publications and any other testimonials (if any).
