1. Playcious Playcious is the place to be for family fun. The play area is enclosed and has a soft floor—perfect for crawling tots.There are multiple play areas, including a gymnasium that’s full of colourful activities that will encourage kids to testtheir speed, flexibility and balance. 2. Balls of Fun Welcome to North America’s only kid’s ball gym. Founded and created by an experienced teacher and mother of two,this playground was made to encourage kids to practice ball skills.  Little ones ages three and younger can enjoy thebaby and toddler gym. The soft-play structure is perfect for crawling and cruising. Not to mention there are tons ofballs to throw and kick—make sure you’re little one attempts to dunk the ball through the ginormous hoop. Older kidshave their own gym where they can dunk and kick with all their friends. Kids can try different ball activities likebalancing and bouncing. The giant jungle gym complete with slides is perfect for kids and adults, so you can join in onthe fun without hurting your knees. Don’t forget to try out the ball pit—it’s full of balls (and fun!)

3. Bunch Of Fun At Bunch Of Fun there’s something for the the whole family. Your tiny tot will love the smaller playground where theycan crawl on and over soft toys, including a carousel of animals. Older kids will race to the big playground, completewith tunnels and slides—woohoo. Parents can relax in the pottery studio or take a much needed break on the comfycouches. There is also a cafe with tons of tasty treats from pizza to danishes and healthy snacks too. Kids under sixmonths are free with a paying sibling.

4. Playtown Get ready for some play-based learning at Playtown. Kids can explore eight gorgeously designed playhouses, eachwith a different theme like the theatre, the grocery store, the raceway — which is a secure space to zip around onPlasmaCars — and Toddler Town, which is designed for newborns through to little walkers. Parents can see the MainStreet area of Playtown from the toddler area, so they can keep an eye on their older children while their babies havefun, too. Playtown also features a café with security monitors that focus on the playhouses so caregivers can have asnack or drink while still watching their kids. Annual memberships are available, as is drop-in play. Little ones youngerthan one are free with a paid child.

5. Hop Hop Jump Kids ages one to six will have a blast on the two play structures at Hop Hop Jump. There’s a smaller area for littleones, with tents, tunnels, soft climbers to crawl on and even a slide that ends in a ball pit. And older kids get toexplore a larger three-level climber complete with swirl and wave slides, a ball pit, tubes and a trampoline. The 5,000-square-foot space is filled with lots of natural light and features fun spaces for kids to explore, including an indoor treehouse and a princess castle.

6. Playground Paradise Operated by the City of Toronto, Playground Paradise is a two-level indoor play structure located at FlemingdonCommunity Centre in Toronto’s east end. It’s open to kids 12 and younger. The room is decorated like a meadow, withgreen floors, leafy fabric on the ceilings and a sky scene painted on the walls. Your brood can zoom down the spiralslide, or get their energy out on the track ride, the cargo elevator or jump in the ball pit. All of this is available for just$2.50 per child for two hours of play.

7. Sprouts – Growing Bodies & Minds This lovely light-filled indoor playground and gym is packed with all the makings of an awesome adventure for kidszero to seven. Sprouts has filled its 6,000 square feet space with two kinder trampolines and three play structureswith slides, ladders and passageways to explore. There’s also a large soft play area for babies and toddlers, withsmaller padded climbers, rockers and little ladders. Caregivers get treated to free coffee, tea and hot chocolate in thecafé. While there is no cost for the first visit, families must purchase either a play pass or part- or full-time membershipto access the playground during drop-in times.
