o Knoke: No excavation to be done of decon pad area atAcid/Pueblo Canyon until radiological samplingand testing has been completed by Eberline todetermine if any excavation is needed.
o Knoke: Temporary radiological grid will be staked-outtoday (7/29) by Bechtel at Acid/Pueblo. PLSwill survey the Bechtel stakes to determinecoordinates. Eberline will begin samplingtoday at Acid/Pueblo.
o Lindstrom: ZIA will have equipment on Acid/Pueblo siteMonday. Excavation to start Monday or Tuesday.

m'=IJ426PLS had last instrument cal~fatlon in December1981, over six months ago. Is thisacceptable? They will set rough staKes withinstruments, have one transit calibrated, anduse it for running final check traverse.
(To Benavides) Bechtel will accept latestcalibration temporarily, but recent calibrationrecord (less than six months) must be submittedASAP. (PLS procedure is approved.)

5. ZIA is to provide Bechtel (G. Scott) copy ofconstruction scnedule Monday (8/2) showingas minimum proposed start/finish of outfallinitial excavation and proposed start/finishof second-round excavation, and time to dosite clean-up and demobilization.

What to do with trees cut down?
Trees will be left on earth fill dump site bydecon pad. Locals will use as firewood.
What permit needed for surveying?
None. I have letter from county saying toproceed with work. That is all PLS needs.
o Benavides: Keys for Bayo Canyon.
o Ferenbaugh: Will make copy or give spare set to Benavides.PLS must nand receipt key.
o Benavides: Will contact Ralph Alaride for local coordinatesystem. G. Dawson knows nim.
