New minister to be ordained

Charles D " Chuck" Hensley will be ordained Sunday at 3 p.m. at Oak Ridge Baptist Church. He has been the pastor of Turrentine Baptist Church in Mocksville sinceNov. 10.

Hensley is the son of Mrs. David Hopkins of Concord. He is married to the former Sandra Trivette of Concord. They have a daughter, Sharon.

Hensley attended Northwest Cabarrus High School and grad-uated from Fruitland Baptist Bi-ble Ins.titute in Hendersonville in September.

Taking part in the ordination will be the Rev . Victor Tr i ette, the Rev. Farrell Shim po<.: and Joe Howell, chairman o he Deacons at Oak Ridge.

Spring Revival planned at First Baptist-Locust

Spring Revival Services will begin April 18, and continue through April 23 at First Bap-tist Church in Locust. The ser-vices will begin on Sunday at 11 a.m., and at 7 p.m. Weeknight services will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Rev. Charles Hensley, pastor from Ninety-Six, S.C. will be the guest evangelist.

Special music and choral wor-ship each service led by Kevin Graham, minister of music.

Pastor Kenney Wallace and congregation cordially invite all to attend.

If unable to attend, your prayers for each service is requested.
