The International Mobile Gaming Awards crosses the Atlantic
to San Francisco
Marseilles, France – 11 January 2013 – The International Mobile Gaming Awards team is
excited to announce that the next mobile gaming awards ceremony will be held in San
Francisco. According to the IMGA founder, Maarten Noyons, this change is a big step for the
IMGA. “We are moving from the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona to our own event in
San Francisco, because it brings us closer to the developers and publishers and our
sponsors and because we are strong enough to now be a stand-alone event”.
This 9th IMGA will be a collaboration with GameConnection America. Since 2001, Game
Connection has been the place to be for video games professionals. It gathers key players
from the game industry three times a year, in Europe, in Asia and in the US, to help them do
business together, connect, share and socialize in a lively environment.
3 more days to go before the close of the entry
The deadline is fast approaching and the IMGA team wants to remind all developers and
studios to submit their game(s) now and until the 14th January on
http://www.imgawards.com/. For this 9th edition, iPad & tablet games are welcomed in the
competition, as well as HTML5 games, as long as there are playable on mobile devices.
