Each group will:1) complete outline Part 2 TED Talk from your

chosen topic (unit) in the book2) summarize Part 2 TED Talk3) link the content in Part 1 Listening and/or Part 2

TED Talk to your topic4) do extensive research (watch more videos on

TED or NG) on the topic5) hold group meetings to discuss the organization

and the structure (main idea and major supports) of your presentation

6) upload the proposal with the references of all the TED or NG videos consulted

transition between each part; for strategies, please refer to the content in the pair mini-project presentations)

For presenting group, each group will:1) make the presentation as a group (every

member has to present)2) use proper non-verbal communication skills (for

strategies, please refer to the content in the pair mini-project presentations)

3) conduct a QA session from audienceFor audience, each group will:

1) listen to the presentation and take notes2) raise questions or make comments about the

presentation in the QA session

Each group member has to participate in the presentation.

GuidelinesEffective Power Point - 1

• Pictures and keywords only.• No sound effect required. If you want to use

any audio or video effects, make sure you know how to put them in so that they play automatically. (You will only have access to a wireless presenter).

• Make sure your file is uploadable.
