Nor Aslam Khan has been in the LNG industry since 2001 and is a Director of newGAS Pte. Ltd., a consultancy focusing on LNG Shipping and developing concepts and projects for floating LNG technology ranging from Liquefaction, Regasification and "LNG to Power". The main focus of newGAS is to independently develop and propose solutions ideal for clients. newGAS has also participated in assessing and developing CNG technologies and projects. Prior to starting up newGAS in 2008, Nor Aslam was the General Manager for Business Development for MISC Berhad. He joined MISC in 2000. He started his career as an E&P Operations Engineer with the Shell Group.

Facilitated by: Eduardo Perez Owner and Principal Consultant SMALL LNG SHIPPING CONSULTANTS Eduardo has more than 20 years of experience in international trade and shipping, both as a Charterer and as a Ship Owner. He specializes in ethylene transportation, small LNG carriers and complete supply chain value analysis. Areas of expertise in petrochemicals transportation include Iran and the Middle East; Europe; Brazil and Argentina and South East Asia. Eduardo spent over 14 years as a Chartering and Supply Chain manager with Dow Chemical globally before spending close to 10 years as Vice President at Norgas Carriers Houston and Singapore, General Manager at MNGC in Singapore and thereafter at Lauritzen Kosan A/S from Denmark as Business Development Manager. Eduardo has experience in dealing with different cultures and negotiation contracts in different countries.

• SITE TOUR TO INDONESIA’S 1st MINI LNG TERMINAL AT BENOA, BALI • • THURSDAY, 14 SEPTEMBER 2017 •

Delegates will have the unique opportunity to visit PT Pelindo Energy Logistic (PEL)’s first mini LNG terminal facility which supplies the dual fueled power plant operated by Indonesia Power. PT Pelindo Energy Logistic (PEL), a subsidiary company PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero), had recently build a Floating Regasification Unit (FRU) and Floating Storage Unit (FSU) in Benoa Port, Bali. The Mini LNG Terminal is the first of its kind in Indonesia, incorporating a Floating Storage Unit (FSU). This terminal will be able to meet the domestic gas needs, amounting to 40 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) – being supplied to a dual fueled power plant (PLTDG) in Pesanggaran Bali.
