100T-CP Cathodic Protection Telemetry Module The 100T-CP Cathodic Protection Telemetry module provides remote monitoring of pipe to soil readings to provide more granular data to aid in pipeline integrity management. The 100T-CP utilizes the same field-proven technology of 100 series gas and water ERT ® modules, offering cathodic protection monitoring that eliminates costly manual voltmeter reading of test stations. Developed in cooperation with the Gas Technology Institute, the 100T-CP is a natural complement to Itron’s portfolio of 100 series radio- frequency (RF) data collection solutions, extending value beyond meter reading. Itron’s 100T-CP Cathodic Protection Telemetry module, combined with a buried reference cell and a connection to the pipeline, captures and stores analog DC and AC voltage reads. Sharing a common platform with 100G and 100W modules, the 100T-CP communicates using a similar RF protocol. Remotely collecting the readings eliminates costly manual reads and daily data enables trending analysis of voltage readings to detect possible cathodic protection degradation. An unprecedented 20 year battery life provides maintenance-free monitoring. The 100T-CP enables real time voltage monitoring using on-request reads through Itron’s ChoiceConnect fixed network.
