DESCRIPTION

2% Thorium tungsten electrode (Red) is the electrode of which added with 1-4% of THO2. The power of its electronic transgression is 2.7ev, 40 % less than 100% tungsten. With a low arc derivation voltage, its easy to cause arc of high stability. Its current capacity is elevated 30%while its rate of burn spoilage drop low, making it more durable. It is fairly widely applied in DC (Direct Current) for stainless steel & mild steel material.

100% Pure tungsten electrode (Green) is the one without any addition of oxide. The power of electronic transgression is as high as 4.5ev. Require a high voltage for arc derivation. It has low current capacity and is easy burnt. It good for application under the condition of AC (Alternative Current) and in the situation of low welding requirement and only for Aluminum material.
