We value our promise to donate all funds we raise to a cross-section of national and local charities.

Coming to the aid of nine communities battling

wildfires, from the West Coast of the United States to Southeastern Australia, you contributed to a total

of $837,875 donated to disaster relief.

Your donations financed the training of over 1,000

students in Metallica Scholars programs across

the country. A total of $1,453,000 was

donated in support of workforce education.

Together we helped Feeding America distribute over 2 million pounds of food. Your dollars enabled us to donate $170,000 to support the fight against hunger.

When a generation-defining pandemic struck, you made it possible for us to assist in global COVID-19 relief efforts spread across five organizations supporting vulnerable populations. Your contributions allowed us to give $475,000 to communities in need.

AWMH PROVIDED FUNDINGFOR 15 COMMUNITY COLLEGES ACROSS THE U.S. WITH THE AACC

With contributions from donors like you, we funded the education of 1,073 students across 15 community colleges with a total of $1.2 million in scholarships. Thanks to AWMH supporters, sponsors, and James Hetfield’s welding and carpentry skills, we were able to assist more than 200 additional students than we anticipated!

Through the Metallica Family and AWMH, I feel blessed to have the opportunity to give back, bring awareness, and hopefully open minds, hearts, and wallets to important causes.

ARE COMMITTED TO FUNDING CRITICAL

LOCAL SERVICES Tragically, wildfires have become a devastating, annual occurrence

in California, and in 2020 we saw the devastation extend into Oregon and Washington. Across the Pacific, the 2019-2020 Australian brushfires

created unprecedented destruction as 46 million acres burned.

With help from our donors, we donated $350,000 to seven local

organizations on the front line of this environmental crisis.

AU$750,000 was split between CFA & Brigades Donation

Fund and NSW Rural Fire Service & Brigades in support of the

volunteer rural firefighters as they battled these particularly destructive Australian brushfires.

COVID-19 RELIEF GRANTS $645,000 DONATED

All Within My Hands fundraised for and highlighted work being done by worthy organizations on the front lines of the pandemic through the Foundation’s first fan-supported #MonthOfGiving in May of 2020.
