1.0 Technical 5100HD
Ametek Model 5100HD Oxygen Analyzer for the measurement of O2 in a VRU.
The 5100HD is a Non-Contact Oxygen Analyzer that uses Tunable Diode Laser Absorption
Spectrocopy (TDLAS) Technology.
The analyzer features:
• All digital signal processing – 32 bit microcontroller capable of sophisticated signal processing
• Web-Based interface - Modbus, Ethernet and analog connectivity
• Real-Time performance Monitoring – Laser line-lock verification using internal reference cell
• NEMA 4 Enclosure houses the electronic components
• Horizontal oriented cell
• Fully integrated Sample Conditioning System
• Fast response to moisture changes.
• Resistant to Contamination – No interference from gas phase amines, glycol, methanol, H2S and
mercaptans
• Proven long term reliability.
• 4 – dry relay contacts
• One – Isolated 4-20 mA loop-powered outputs
• RS-485 serial port, isolated – supports Modicon Modbus RTU
• Display – 4 line x 20 character alphanumeric VF display
• Class I, Division 2

• Analyzer has heated bench, helps in maintaining sample above dewpoint of stream
• Low maintenance, does not require weekly/monthly/yearly calibration

• Low maintenance – in the event of process upset, simply remove the cap on the cell and clean the mirror and cell.

• Confirm circuit lengths prior to purchase
• The bundle can be cut to length in the field

• TPU is a chloride free thermoplastic polyether urethane elastomer
• Bundle is designed for permanent installation
