Appointed Independent Director, Premier Bank

Mr. Md. Salim Uddin, FCMA, FCA, MBA a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accoun-tants of Bangladesh-ICAB has recently been appointed as Independent Director of Premier Bank Ltd. He is also Independent Director of

Chittagong Stock Exchange. He is a Professor of the Department of Accounting & Informa-tion Systems, University of Chittagong. In 1999, Mr. Salim obtained his MBA degree with distinction from the University of Brussels, Belgium.

He has more than fifty research publica-tions in various fields of Accounting and Finance.
