Ministers of the Eucharist

This beautiful ministry allows trained lay people
to administer the Eucharist in both species (Body
& blood) at Masses. This ministry also
encompasses bringing communion to the home
bound. Training is done on an as needed basis and
then he/she is scheduled according to his/her Mass
preference. We always open to receiving
parishioners into this wonderful ministry.
Parish Support for the weekend of September 2nd
was $11,571.00 with $670.00 received into our
Building Fund (which includes $240.00 received
for Capital Campaign). As always thank you for
your generous support of our parish. God Bless!
Lifeteen Kick Off-Sunday, September 16th. Begins with 5:00 pm Mass followed by a cookout and lots of fun!
Lifeteen Bottle/Can Drive-Please consider donating your returnables in the receptacle in the back of the church. Proceeds fund Lifeteen Activities.
Young Adult Women’s Bible Study w/Sarah-For college age women (18-25) Tuesdays from 6:00-7:00 pm. Please contact Sarah when you plan on attending.
Teen Bible Study-will resume when Lifeteen starts up again. Contact Sarah for details.
Fall Festival-Lifeteen will be helping with the Kids Activity Corner. Teens please consider donating your time. Jam Sessions-are over for the summer. Sessions will start up again once a month. Dates to be determined.

We greatly appreciate the Camosse Masonry Supply Co. for the use of their flat bed truck for our parish parade float created by our teens for this year’s Old Home Day
Parade. Thanks Chris, Sarah and Deacon Bill and all the zealous teens along with Alex who helped with the decorations.

Upcoming Cursillo Weekends Cursillo or "short course in Christianity" is
an uplifting and educational experience. The weekend is facilitated by a team of
laypeople and clergy who deliver organized talks and facilitate discussion.
There is an up coming women’s weekend October 25-28, 2018 and 2019 dates are as follows; Men-March 21-24 & October 10-13; Women-May 2-5 & November 14-17. All
weekends will be held at the Immaculate Conception Spiritual Renewal Center in Putnam, CT. For more
