DOGS – ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THE FAIRGROUNDS!
LIVE ANIMALS AS PRIZES - Under Section 358-a of Article 26 of the NYS Agriculture and Markets Law, live animals are not allowed to be
given away as prizes in any game, drawing, contest, sweepstakes or other promotion. The Exceptions are purebred livestock and fish. Animals can be given away as part of a bona fide educational
program. Enforcement is carried out by peace officers or agents of an incorporated SPCA.
NOTICE
Proof of current rabies vaccine is required and MUST be included with papers for the following animals: Cattle, Sheep, Horses, Dogs, Cats, and Ferrets. Any animal from outside of NY State, must meet All NY import health
requirements and fair regulations. This includes having an interstate health certificate.
All Animals will be subject to inspection prior to fair entry to determine acceptance or immediate rejection.
Except for the Show’s Participants . . . SNAKES are NOT to be brought onto the fairgrounds.
Snakes (pets or otherwise) are strictly forbidden on fairground property.
