SUBJECT QUERY ON JOB ORDERS

Relative to your query on the renewal contracts of Job Orders, please beinformed that:

1. Hiring of job orders shall be based on manpower needs of the office andavailability of funds. This shall be subject to the approval of theUndersecretary of the sector and the Secretary.

2. The compensation of job orders for 2012, shall be based on the hiring rateof third Tranche Monthly Salary Schedule (NBC #530) with additional 20%for drivers of officials and 5% for all other positions.

3. The revised proforma contract of service was prepared by our LegalService to conform with existing rules. Based on the CSC guidelines,contract of service personnel are not entitled to benefits enjoyed byregular government employees such as ACA, PERA, productivity,bonuses, etc. because of no employee-employer relationship.
