Just so you know…

0 If you’re feeling confused at the end of today’s period, it’s okay! Tomorrow we will cover the syllabus in greater detail and do a more detailed introduction assignment.

0We will also talk about classroom procedures in the next few days. In the mean time, please refrain from getting out of your seat, talking while the teacher is talking, using electronics, or asking questions when not prompted.

0Getting to know each other and how we will work together is important to Ms. Sprague. Stay tuned!

Wise Words

0Everybody is a genius. If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing it is stupid.

Stressful?

0Sometimes we can be overwhelmed with information. It’s okay to stop and review. This is important to remember on your own time and in class. If you review what you learned at the end of class and again at home that night, you are more likely to remember the vast majority of information learned. If you come to class doing your part, I will do my part to reteach if still needed.

0So what were the answers??

Page 16: 1 st Day Welcome Instructions 0 Choose a seat for the time being: 0 Make a wise choice for a good first impression. 0 Use the hooks (under your seat!)

Grab your syllabus!

Exchange ideas with your partner. What were some of the important points from critical reading?

Read each other’s questions. Can you help answer?

As a table group, pick the two most important points from the syllabus.
