Bradshaw Nursing Care BedsThis year, the range has been expanded to include the new Bradshaw Wide, adding another dimension in luxury and comfort. In addition, Bradshaw beds match current dementia care recommendations including the option of bright, contrasting colour options which can help with visual identification and sensory stimulation.

The range successfully combines Sidhil’s established tradition for strength and durability, with each bed made up of four

component sections which are easy to assemble and disassemble. The bariatric version is specially engineered to cater safely for occupants weighing up to 50 stone (320kgs).

Bradshaw beds incorporate a choice of different wood colours and padded head end colours to harmonise with existing furniture and finished in domestic settings and residential care homes. A full range of accessories is also available.

A pair of full length wrap around side rail pads developed for use with the standard Bradshaw side rails. Strips of Velcro® running along the two bottom edges allow for easy attachment and removal.

Bradshaw Side Rail Pads (Full Length)

Designed to fill the gap between the mattress platform and the side rails on a Sidhil Bradshaw bed.

It comprises padded sections for the side rails, linked together by mesh sections passing underneath the mattress. Platform profiles as normal.

Designed to provide side rail padding whilst still allowing the occupant of the bed to be able to see through the side rails; this reduces the feeling of restricted space. Side rails can still be lowered when the pads are in place.

4G memory foam has facilitated the launch of a new generation of mattresses providing particular benefits for environments such as burns units and other skin issues, bariatric applications, and patients with high temperatures.

The new Acclaim Cool mattress features 4G memory foam, designed to offer true visco-elastic properties without relying on cell tightness to achieve a slow recovery rate. The visco-elastic properties of 4G memory foam are attributed to the structure of the polymer, and these properties are retained when the foam undergoes static and dynamic pressure loading. Key Features:• All controlled Drugs Cabinets meet “The

misuse of Drugs (safe custody) regulations 1975” and exceed BS2881:1989 Level One in line with current UK requirements for these products.

• They feature a fully welded construction using 2mm thick cold reduced mild steel sheet, with 3mm thick anchor plates at all fixing points.

• 2mm thick mild steel continuous hinges are complete with 25mm joints and a 4.5mm diameter hinge pin, welded to the hinge to prevent removal of the door if the hinge is forced.

• All cabinets are polyester powder coated to Ral 9003 (White).

• Locks are 6 pin Euro profile cylinder locks incorporating anti-pick, anti-drill, and-bump and fire resistant features or seven lever mortice locks featuring hardened steel mortice bolts with anti-saw facility.
