1. Opening

1.1 Approval of the Agenda and last minutesThe Agenda of the 4th Meeting of the REMIT IT Management and Governance Task Force was approved in the form as mirrored in these minutes. This meeting was held together with the 3rd IT Expert Group meeting. Furthermore the minutes of the last meeting were approved.

Klemens Leeb and Stefano Bracco co-chaired the meeting.

2. Outcome of the public workshop on technical requirements for data reporting under REMIT

Stefano Bracco briefly summarised the outcome of the public workshop on technical requirements for data reporting which was held in Ljubljana on 25th April.

The workshop was part of the public consultation on the same topics which is still on-going.

Feedback was quite good and further information can be found on the ACER website (http://www.acer.europa.eu/Media/Events/Public%20workshop%20on%20technical%20requirements%20for%20data%20reporting%20under%20REMIT/default.aspx?InstanceID=1).

Once the outcome of the public consultation, which is prepared by the MMG task force, is ready we will inform and discuss it with the group.

3. E-Client presentationKlemens Leeb presented an E-Control tool for secure communication. The so called E-Client was designed for high security exchange of data, regardless of size and type. It features certificate based encrypted web-service calls and an easy interface for the users to communicate with the E-Client (hot folder, Mail, Web-service API).

It can be used for any type of communication where secure data transmission is essential. Therefore the group discussed several possible fields of application for REMIT including data exchange with NRAs and RRM and RIS communication with ACER.

Subject to further testing by ACER the E-Client might be used for REMIT pilot projects where quick and secure data transmission is necessary.

4. Presentation on reporting fundamental dataFederico Aguilera who is currently involved with ENTSO-E held a presentation about fundamental data. He explained to the audience the complexity of master data management and the need for detailed definitions on what is meant under fundamental data.

It was made clear that we need to take into account also the collaboration with the financial market namely ESMA and to try to harmonise the different approaches.

Furthermore it was discussed that currently there are plenty of sources for (parts of) fundamental data like the ENTSOs and several transparency platforms which all have different content and definitions.

5. Presentation on proposed Security Standards and Policy for REMITTomaz Zaplotnik from ACER explained the planned security concepts for REMIT. He outlined the content of the planned policy and the different options for implementing an ISMS (information security management system).

It was discussed that such a policy needs to cover all involved parties (like ACER, RRMs, RISs and NRAs) which have access to (parts of) REMIT data. It was also agreed that due to time and money constraints the various policies do not necessary need to follow commonly used international standards like the ISO 2700x family but should have some kind of objective third party quality assurance.

Further discussion on that topic is needed and will be continued in the next meetings.

6. AOB, next meetingReferring to the yearly meeting schedule, the next EG meeting was planned to take place in July 2013. Because some of the participants seems to be absent in that time we agreed on finding a new date end of June.
