LONG TERM GOALS

Enhance the students interest in Geography by adopting 21st century teaching skills.

To adopt the 21st century teaching approaches and create an environment which makes the students life long learners with critical thinking.

SHORT TERM GOALS

To create students interest in Geography through Audio-visual aids,internet,facebook.

To enhance the understanding of the students through real life examples.

To focus on communication skills. To develop confidence by encouragement. To motivate them towards 21st century

skills.

INSTRUCTIONAL STRATEGIES AND TASKS

I will integrate Bloom’s Taxonomy and will apply during my lecture in order to enhance critical thinking in students.

I will arrange group tasks so that they can learn from their peers.

I will upload more videos on face book so that they can learn through audio-visual aids.

I will create a Geography club where students will prepare presentations.

CHALLENGES

Internet access may not be possible every time.

Internet usage may not be allowed by every parent.

Researches to be done on daily basis for frequent changes in Geography.

Students and parents may not be ready for frequently done projects.

SOLUTIONS

I will sit in the computer lab with students for helping them.

I will co-ordinate with computer teachers to prepare such a syllabus which help them in Geography as well.

Parents would be given a detailed outline of how to help their children in Geography Project.

To overcome time constrain, students will be asked to present their ideas precisely, within last five minutes of the period.
