Overview of A/R Reminder Letter Enhancements

With your system set up to use A/R Reminder Letter Enhancements functionality is provided that allows missing reminder letter forms to be created as they are generated

The set-up mechanism meets the requirement that the audit can be carried out on standard software ‘out of the box’

Note that to use this functionality the system key SLGENFORM must be set to YES

Reminder Letter Maintenance

This option has been enhanced to allow missing forms to be created automatically for a specific form set and category

A new action ‘F8-Create’ has been added – selecting this action allows you to create reminder letters forms automatically for each severity, up to the severity number defined, i.e. with severity level 3 defined, forms for levels 1, 2 and 3 will be created

Reminder Letter Maintenance

Six forms are created for each severity – for this example a total of 18 forms will be created, i.e.((6 x Severity 1) + (6 x Severity 2) + (6 x Severity 3))

Existing forms are not overwritten and the system log is updated with a message listing any forms that already exist

Generate Reminder Letters

If you leave this checkbox blank you will have to create the missing forms via Reminder Letter Maintenance – the missing forms are detailed on the System Log
