Review of TSG-S Activities in 2008

1. In general, in addition to ordinary work re requirements, architecture, project management, security and OAM&P, TSG-S greatly contributed to cross-TSG discussion and coordination. (host joint meeting, lunch-time meeting, joint meeting hosted by the other group, etc)

2. Combining WG2 (Architecture) and WG5 (OAM&P) , both groups are with less participants

3. Hosted Joint Strategy Session for IMT-Advanced Initiatives, that leaded to Osaka Future Workshop

4. Input Presentation in Osaka Workshop “TSG-S System and Service Aspects” proposing drafting of Vision Document

5. Clif Barber served Secretary for the Workshop6. TSG-S 3GPP2 Vision Ad-Hoc reactivated by direction from SC7. UMB-1 Release Guide8. WG1/3 met, but WG2/4 did not meet in September9. Number of new Work Items proposal decreasing10. WG4 published 9 documents in spite of limited resources
