VUERAN'S DAY CARI PACKAGES As a special than!'? you to all of the men and women that serve our country, the LHS Student Council will be collecting items to mal'?e care paci'?ages. We will be collecting leftover Halloween candy, toiletries (such as travel sized shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap, tooth brushes, toothpaste and lip balm), wool socl:?s (and they have to be wool), and decl:?s of cards. We will be collecting the items during the wee!'? of Nov. 2 - 6 and in celebration for Veteran's Day. The students can bring these items in a Ziploc bag and place the items in a large paper bag, which will be located in each classroom.
BOXTOPS The Box Tops progress board is located outside the LHTV newsroom. We currently have 2,000 box tops for the November 1't deadline. Please be sure to continue depositing Box Tops outside of the LHTV newsroom. Every single box top helps!
EARLY PICK•UPS If you need to pie!'? up your child before regular dismissal, you must be here before 2a4!1PM. All pici'?-ups after that time will occur at the bacl'? circle, due to the arrival of the buses and traffic flow.

Little Apple Fun Run little Apple FUN RUN is this Sunday, October 25th! Starting at 8:30am, the DJ will be rocl:<ing! All runners must arrive at 8:30 sharp to register for the race, get their race number and pict? up their custom race t-shirt. In addition to the overthe-top breat?fast buffet, come enjoy the new interactive booths featuring fabulous prizes and giveaways!

Fall Festival Please be advised that the 3rd and 6th grades have switched time slots for the fall festival. The 6th grade will now be outside at 9am and the 3rd grade will be outside at 2pm. This seminar will also teach us how to deai with Defiance, Disrespect, Veiling, and Sibling Fights. No registration needed. 2. Fall Apparel The 2015 Fall Apparel has shipped and is expected to arrive on Tuesday, October 2i11

Philanthropy The LHSPTG's Community Philanthropy Committee is loot?ing forward to another year volunteering at the TRl-CYA in Huntington for homeworl:? help. There will be two parent supervisors/volunteers from our committee with the students for each afternoon at the center. Parents are also welcome to stay with their children. Please be sure to add your child(ren)'s name and grade when signing up. Please see Philanthropy's volunteer spot linl:? here: http://vols.pt/qAu3LX We will also be donating after-school snacl:?s and homewort? supplies to the center. Collection boxes for both will be in the cafeteria beginning October 26th and rolling throughout the school year. Lost and Found If anyone is missing items, they should checl:? the lost and found bins in the lunch room. If items are not collected, they will be donated the first Thursday of every month starting 11/5.
PTGDuet Directories and Change of Transportation Pads have been distributed to a!! families that paid PTG Dues.
